+x+x+x+x+xWould be unreal if he could go from rock bottom of 2.Bundi straight to the Bundi. Trying to think of clubs. Hannover might grab him to fill their squad. Klaus is going to Wolfsburg plus Karaman, Bech, Benschop are likely to leave. That'd leave them with two wingers only. Freiburg, Bremen, Mainz or Augsburg would be interesting. Just based off my observations it seems the Germans are good at bringing talent up from the 2nd division, much more than the EPL I think. Would you say so John? Would give you a much higher chance of making the jump after a good season in div2. the epl's bottom half is chock full of players coming through from the second division I get what you mean but I think more germans look at bringing Bundi 2 players up where as in the EPL seems a lot of them look to Belgium and Netherlands for players. Take Brighton for example. i'd probably put money on the fact that more new players to the EPL would come from their second division than any other league, every season.

Which brings me to another point. When Jedinak was in the EPL, he would have been good enough for the current Arsenal team and is just the kind of player they are currently lacking. I dont know if he has it anymore. I haven't watched him and he has missed so much football. Has anyone been watching Jedinak this season?

I know it's not the point, but is it not at least in part due to the fact the epl promotes more teams(3) than most leagues ?

Does that not debunk your theory that more get promoted if the sheer fact that there are significantly less english players in the the EPL than the Bundesliga, its the reason they can send a B team to the Confeds Cup and still dominate. Jedinak is not a ball playing DM - hes a sweeper/hardman its the REASON he didn't go to arsenal all those years back lol? You've seen arsenal play right? They have promotion in Germany too mate. Reus came from 3rd div.

Jamie Maclaren says that the squad are feeling confident going into this evening's Edinburgh Derby against Hearts at Easter Road https://twitter.com/HibsOfficial/status/972123176963530752

Maclaren starting Milligan, Amini and Caceres all started Pasquali, Carter on the bench
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Anthony Carter came on in the 54th minute for Benfica B against Académica. They were losing 2-nil and went onto lose 4-nil.
The other Aussies in Portugal (Mabil, Ansell, De Niese, Trajceski and Ilir) all play on Monday morning.
Ansell has been in and out of the squad for the last few weeks, De Niese hasn't been in the squad lately despite being a regular before the last two weeks and Ilir was on the bench last week for Gafanha after recently signing with the third tier club. I expect Mabil and Trajceski to play.

McLaren just scored a good goal.
Had barely touched it prior to that. Has been in some good positions but left unused by his team mates, or turned it over when given the ball under pressure

I think I've posted his goal compilation from perth and brisbane 3 times to demonstrate that he isnt a tap in specialist and yet people keep saying he is. Smh

+xGoal JMac! Holds the ball off four defenders and gets the shot in past the lot! Viduka would do th@ type of close control under pressure nearly every game. Hopefully getting a taste of it will spur him on in the big leagues. Understanding he can't just run around like a seagull in these big leagues Cracking shot from distance and yep keeper got a touch, unsure it would have gone in though, looked a little high still off the bar more than likely ricochet out.

+xGet in Maclaren. Big game to score in. Do it again. Dogged determination, JMac does have, needs to understand this should be normal , natural attitude in the big leagues. (well SPFL, big enough hype wise)

Urawa are struggling early in the j-league, near the relegation places. Currently down a goal against newly promoted Nagasaki. Could help Nabbout's chances of a first team place.

+xYokohoma lose 2-1 at home with 76% And somehow that possession was turned into nothing with 9 shots 4 on target vs 15 shots 4 on target.

That first goal was ridiculous, what was the defender thinking.
