The club was forced too turn on their fans by the FFA and the end result is your attendance is pretty much halved. 
Instead of the powerful FFA coming out and defending the fans of all A-league clubs against bullshit media reports they end up blaming the club and forcing it to turn away fans.

I actually feel sorry for the club because it makes it hard to fight a battle against mainstream media when your own federation is coming out and punishing clubs because 2 fucking flares were lit.

Football fans being demonised again. I heard a news report there were more than 15 arrests at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras for offences including assault, and there were also numerous other cautions issued for drug possession. No calls from the mainstream media to ban the crowds there.
The double standards in the Australian media remain. Football must be attacked at every opportunity.

Beautiful stadium Marconi, yeh nostalgia and all but it’s great to see a venue from the old days and be reminded how perfectly suited it is to today’s era, the 7k the Wanderers had last night would have had Marconi stadium rocking.

Also in regard to Marconi, a number of fans for years have ranted how Wolves playing at WIN should be in the AL. So I hardly think a stand missing on side is an issue.

Seeing some pretty solid NPL crowds while the weather is still good.
Makes you think the clubs like Marconi and Wolves could easily double their crowds in a recognised and established second tier pretty comfortably.

That's a top crowd for a state league that has zero exposure in the media. 

In 50-1000 years they should be ready for the aleague.

No, according to many on here, thats a shit crowd for a shit quality match and has nothing at all to do with the amount of marketing or hype for the product. It should rate the same on t.v and draw the same sort of crowd as the English premier League, because it's exactly the same thing and there's no difference at all.
