Blatant penalty not given for Hull. Irvine off early, probably tired.
Carter subbed on at HT for Benfica B

Giannou scored and played 90 mins in a 3-0 win against league leaders Apollon (this was just their second loss)
Oar subbed on (76')

Sainsbury on, 84'

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Looks like he'll need to get a move next season, 5 points back from safety with 7 games to go.

great positioning and movement around the players for a "tap in"

3 goals in 8 games. not a bad return. he has already had more games with hibs than with darmstadt.

Juric is excellent off the ball and has performed far better for the NT than Maclaren. No way he should start.

Agreed, Juric is first choice but Maclaren is surely only a few goals off making the next squad.

Lots of Aussies finding the net this weekend...lets hope it continues!
Great news about Ben Folami, hopefully he gets more opportunities for the rest of the season since Ipswich have nothing to play for (except finishing above Norwich!). His scoring record has been fantastic, top scorer across both the U18s and the U23s! Ipswich have a new manager coming in next season too, if he rates Folami then he could be seeing regular Championship action.

Juric is better at holding the ball  no doubt but no way he is better than Maclren off the ball, if we are talking about work rate, making runs and getting in good positstions then he Maclaren is better.

Juric has been played better? I guess so, he certainly has had a lot more games to do so, in 34 games he has scored 8.

Maclaren has had 5 games with no goals, give him another 29 games and lets talk then.

I agree he Maclaren should not be starting over Juric, but he deserves to be on the bench at the world cup, can't keep expecting Cahill to save our ass in the future.

i agree that maclaren is great off the ball. Him robbie kruse and holman excell at this and it isn't noticed by many I think

Juric is a brilliant presser and gets into good spaces, i don't know why no one ever mentions that about him. There's a reason why he was the first choice for Ange and it is because he is the most complete striker we have. Holds up the ball, presses as well as any other striker we have, good on the ground, strong in the air, good at finding the space but his big issue just like Maclaren is they both waste chances.

Now i am not saying not to bring Maclaren to the world cup or that he isn't good off the ball, but he isn't our best option up front.

Normally when people are raving about your pressing and ability to get into good spaces, it means you have problems finding the back of the net. Juric as our “gun” forward is terribly depressing, but unless Maclaren or someone else comes along he’s the best we got.

Hinterseer barely played when Ingolstadt were in the big time. 88 games from 3 seasons? (2 in bundi 1)
He's a pretty good player, quite similar to Juric.
