32 instead of 35 now. As stated 26 plus Arzani then 5 more.
Maclaren is a certainty. Hrustic being reported as in. 3 more, Chapman, Dougall, Jeggo/Amini?
Dougall offers more versatility. Jeggo and Amini are in the wrong position with our strengths. Brillante being in that original 26 is slightly puzzling compared to Jeggo or Dougall being or arguably better skill and a higher level.
One must remember that 8 of those players will be in the provisional squad and will be gone in a few weeks. Jedinak and others could be playing very late into the season.
Ryan Williams and Burgess will be involved in the playoffs but appear far from the national team for now.

Big announcement at 10am. I don't expect any massive shocks for the provisional 32.

+xBig announcement at 10am. I don't expect any massive shocks for the provisional 32. with 2 injuries its really a 34 right? wonder why its not a 35 anymore? Perhaps 3 players on BVMs radar were deemed not good enough

Goalscoring record not important when picking strikers if he believes they contribute in other areas

fairly straight forward selection. are we going to get this with every new coach? the first couple squads are decent and then they fall to shit? great to see gersbach in the mix. im not convinced about troisi - could have had amini, dds, mcgree, antonis in his place.

BVM very happy not to have to deal with the farewell game in the leadup to the World Cup - more time to train with players.

BVM not a fan of VAR - bemoans football 'losing it's charm', but understands technology changes are inevitable.

Holy shit why are they asking about the VAR in the grand final? Who gives a fuck? I think it's a relevant question, especially with VAR being in place at the World Cup.
