+x+xRemember the name John McGahn. If... when... Trump starts tweeting to discredit him I'm sure you'll hear his name. Anyway, who is he? - White House Counsel. Who is.... "Worried that Mr Trump would eventually blame him in the inquiry, Mr McGahn has told people he is determined to avoid the fate of the White House Counsel for President Nixon, John W Dean, who was imprisoned in the Watergate Scandal" How determined? Well he's got himself his own Attorney and has now given Mueller 30 hours... and counting... of testimony. V-O-L-U-N-T-A-R-I-L-Y Sounds like a nobody. Trump is powerful and protected. He (and the USA government) wontt worry about nobodies like this! That "nobody" is Counsel to the President, or as was determined during the Watergate Trials and subsequent legal rulings and clarifications - Counsel to President as in "the office" as opposed to the President personally. In other words the most powerful legal counsel in The U.S. Quite a nobody, and btw as much a part of The USA government you think is protecting Trump as anybody you want to think of. Including and even more so than Trump himself, who is part of the Executive Branch of Government but that's where it ends. One day Marki, you'll realise those movies do tend to take "dramatic license".

But I keep reading your posts about the next event or testimony that knocks Trump out of office and I cant help but think you are constantly off the mark, or he is more protected than you think. You might also consider that he hasn't killed or raped anyone so whatever you think he has done that is bad, better be bloody bad otherwise it's nothing but puff.

What a difference a kicking game makes, and some players who back themselves and play good footy.
Good first half from the dogs even though they copped some harsh penalties on their line.

Brilliant win, quality game, very happy.
Even better if we can cut out some silly mistakes.

+xYou bloody beauty..... Well Done Dogs!!!Cmon Marki..... forget about that maniac Josh Reynolds.... embrace Lachlan Lewis The Fresh Prince of Bel-More Already embraced him villi after his first NRL game. I'm glad Pay played Frawley in run-on side. He steps and runs the ball better than JMK and passes better so he and Lewis should he our first choice halves. We will obviously start next season with Foran but that song last, so I reckon Frawley is a MUST re-signing.

FMD if Frawley is an answer we're out of questions. He's just a dumb 2nd grader. 5th tackle penalties, the kick-off where Smith saved him, sticking the boot out on a nothing kick for six again. He does stuff like it every week. His bullet pass to an unsuspecting player is another favourite. His big play is a dummy and nobody falls for it no more, he got smashed more than once today trying it.

The most frustrating thing about us is the dumb errors but it's also the most promising. Dumb errors is what kept the Warriors in the game.

Never said any of it would knock him out of office. Nah it'll just keep adding evidence to the most criminal President ever elected until Mueller reports. Then the House will go for impeachment, the Senate will clear him, many Trump associates and perhaps, probably family members will be charged and jailed. The Trump brand will collapse, Trump himself will have a sealed indictment which his Supreme Court might be able to quash... maybe... BUT, nobody ever anywhere except for those on the Kool-Aid will have any doubt about Trump and he'll live out the remainder of his miserable years disgraced and hopefully jailed but on that we'll have to see. And I'll be glad to report on it.

Frawley creates more doubt in the opposition defensive line than you realise or give him credit for. His defence is much improved. He has given afew penalties away on the line for holding but that might be a coach instruction. Others do it too. His worst attribute is his kicking. But next to Lewis he is good. The player that nearly cost us the game was Hoppa... Forward pass from 20m restart with 7 tackles and Warriors score from next set. Loses the ball in a tackle after cleaning up a grubber and Warriors score in next set. Fumbles ball in-goal after a grubber and lucky Reimis was there to ground it. Unchsracteristic to have so many errors but in my opinion would have been the main reason had we lost today.

We've got a goodun and something to really look forward to if all goes well for Lewis and recruitment. This press conference is gold...shows a good relationship with Pay. https://www.nrl.com/news/2018/08/19/bulldogs-press-conference-round-23-2018/

Nancy is right about Frawley, time to make the call and move on.
While he is often criticized, Lichaa offers much more.
If we are keeping one of them I vote Lichaa.
I am happy for both to go.

Lichaa and Frawley can go at the end of the season and the club wont miss a beat without him. If we cant recruit a new hooker one of woolford, Nu brown or JMK will have to do. they wont be any worse than Lichaa. He doesn't have a pass, kick or vision. Is not capable of running out of dummy half without falling or slipping over. He has some ticker but not enough talent. I saw 5 minutes of NSW Cup and saw Woolford pass straight off the ground to Cleeland. Something so bloody simple and i was left dumbfounded.... As for Frawley, we will have Foran and Lewis as our starting halves with Cooger / Nu Brown / JMK as backup. Meaney will be our starting fullback with Hoppa backup there. If i was in charge or recruitment i would be targeting another outside back and a prop. We need to position ourselves better salary cap wise for 2020 to be able to play make a play for a really good hooker (Josh Hodgson) or fullback if Meaney doesn't work out. After that would be a strong Centre with footwork. We don't need big money players anywhere else. I've long carried the view if you have 3 good players in your spine you can make up for the other being ok. At the moment we have 2 good halves for next year (Provided Foran is fit and healthy). Hoppa is an ok fullback if need be. I think Meaney will be at worst ok... Which leaves Pay needing to find or promote a good hooker this offseason.

Marki The only doubt Frawley creates with his dummy is whether he will trip over his own feet. Yeah he made some tackles because the opposition run at him, mostly he tackles and falls back enabling a quick play the ball. His kicking was aweful today NEXT TO LEWIS. Why do you carry on with talking him up when he at best is a good ISP player. The guy you criticise has been our best player in the last month yet you apologise for one of our worst.

As there were only about 50 people at the 20s game, I am one of a very few who saw 3 grades win live and proud to do so. Isn't it great to see a player having fun at a presser and having the humility to say what he did wrong. He is a breath of fresh air and I knew he could play well in 1st grade as a half if given the chance.
