+x+xArzani has been at celtic proper only a few weeks. FFS, I wouldn't be surprised if it was months and months before he played - let alone get picked in the squad. People need to relax and realise he's no different than 100s (or 1000s) of young footballers in Europe - he's not some freak or superstar in the making - yet - like Mbappe - who is also 19 but has played almost 80 games of senior club football and 22 senior internationals. I wish him success and hope he breaks through early but I wouldn't start panicking after two weeks. It doesn't matter where he ranks globally, we're entitled to want the best for him Who's to say what you think is best for him, is actually the best for him?? Surely those that see him training and whatnot everyday would have a better idea then those who don't, no??

+xshould he have stayed at melbourne city for one more season or is he ok on celtic's program? If he were at City he would still be in pre-season for another 2 months. He may have built up to a 90min player at City, but I think being at Celtic right now even if he doesn't get much game time in even the next 6 months is ok. Only down side is Asain cup coming up, he might not be as sharp.

It depends clubs sometime string players along so they stick around for good depth rather than seeking more time elsewhere, Langerak is an example

That being said, Celtic has a proven history of signing (be it a loan in Arzani's case) young players, improving them, then sell them on. Our record speaks for itself. So your argument doesn't hold water, in this case (IMHO).

+xSo how does Danny Vukovic get a 50th minute assist? Found it. He rolled it 15m to the player who ran the entire field to score. None of the 3 he conceded were stoppable. All good goals actually https://youtu.be/J2gBBzfk610

Ex CCM youth player Nathan Lozada has signed for a 2nd tier Uruguayan team. Give him 12 years and he could be the next Richard Porta https://twitter.com/AlbionFootClub/status/1035519016180297728

Yokohama v Kashiwa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACPlIqO7J2wIwata v Nagoya https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACPlIqO7J2w
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Elder has been left out of Leicesters 25 man premier league squad. Maybe an A-league club could go for him but I wonder what his wage is.

Only 23 but probably can't be wasting too many more seasons in reserves. Hopefully he can get a move in Jan.

Don't know if it's already been mentioned here but there's a Nicholas Dib at Mlada Boleslav U21.

+xBoth are absolutely horrible players Can I quote you on this when they’re both national team players? Armenakas was meant to be a star player from a young age but ends up being a benchy for the joeys and a Belgium 2nd division side, C'mon.

Ikon was dubbed some sort of messiah. They all get this treatment but really, if they can't get game time for hapless sides they must be genuine shite.

He was making the bench for Lazio aged 19, of course people got excited at the time.

Armenakas was meant to be a star player from a young age but ends up being a benchy for the joeys and a Belgium 2nd division side, C'mon. He still is a young age. He hasn’t ended up anything yet. Was 19 until 3 weeks ago. Not saying Panos is anywhere near as good as Arzani, but if Arzani was in Italy, he would still just be a bench player too. You guys are judging way too early. No one ever said they’re going to be a Messi like players. Maybe that was your imagination. But if they keep improving, they’ll both probably be very good players and be around the national team set up.
