I was unaware that Newtown were a feeder club for Cronulla.....that explains a lot then. All the niggling, punching, grabbing, yep that's a sharks trait. Good game overall but I thought we were starting to run out of puff near the end. I also thought our first try was dubious because I reckon it was a knock on but the Jets second try was also dubious because I don't reckon he got the ball down..... so all is good.

They'll have to play for 80 next week you'd think.

slater is already m-o-m whether he plays or not... If the little grub plays I hope that they target him with shoulder charges all night. We will then see if the storm fans are so forgiving of the practice. The chooks just have to put their other arm out and "look" like their trying to perform a tackle.

Well done to the NSW cup team today.
Good to finally win some silverware.

Leichardt oval must be one of the worst grounds to try and get a park. Took me 30mins of driving around. Finally found one in La Montage after 3 attempts. 

Anyway, at least we could run onto the field and celebrate the win with the players. Top stuff.

Not sure. I was on the far side of the field (hill, tv side) and making my way to the grandstand side when they handed the trophy to Martin and Dogs were already celebrating on the dais. I did think it was all too quick but who cares.....

At least they couldn't stuff up the colour of the streamers....the whole ground was in Blue & White!

How come when the greatest player ever to leave the Bulldogs has a 1 out of 10 game no one mentions it??? It would have to be a 1 as there is nothing less. Truly Cook was rank on Saturday...but the only thing we get are snide remarks about Lichaa..
