+x+xWicked sister sponcer Is a deserts company now all bulldogFans boycot there products simple Great move by the Wicked Sisters. Never heard of them before. Now everyone will know about them. Are they a sexy lingerie company or something? Looking at ODF's response, you guessed right. :)

Are they a sexy lingerie company or something? Bingo. This is simply a company wondering if it gets better brand recognition being an obscure logo barely visible on a league jersey (or shorts or socks? where were they situated on the strip anyway) or by making the news for a day and decided on the latter. If it was a "moral decision" they could've made that moral decision the day after it happened or any day leading up to GF day. Doing it in the slow league news week after GF day when you know you'll hit the news just because there's no other news is purely commercial. And smart. As Slink said, they've been on our strip for a year and nobody's ever heard of them, now they've been in the news for a day and........

Hardly unnoticeable if you watch on TV with closeups of the players shorts or if you attend the games and see all the advertising around the ground. But you are right.... The publicity received by the act of terminating their sponsorship is a smart marketing strategy on their behalf.

On the same token, Souths should get approached by NSW Police as jersey sponsor since most of their players have close ties with that organisation.....

I thank them for clearing this up so I dont inadvertantly by any of their products...

How can one associate "family values" when you have "wicked" and satanic themes in your name and logo.

I hope they go broke...

Talk about kicking someone while theyre down...feel extra sorry for Elliott..its now a million lost (or made to look that way)..a sleasy look to cancel sponsorship 4 weeks after the event. Hope the magistrate throws out the Fine and Elliott cases. Fine the poor bugger injured, without a contract and pending charges....all due to DT and Buzz...sleazebag.

+xHahaha..... that Germ Weidler just interviewed Cordner who said ‘it’s unfortunate what’s happened to Inglis’WTF The complete opposite actually... He's fortunate he didn't injure or kill himself or anyone else... He's fortunate the NRLol have no balls... He's fortunate the media treat him differently to others... He's fortunate he doesn't have a DV record to go with his DUI.... #sobrave...

I reckon Manly are gonna fold soon, unless something dramatic changes, 5 years absolute max, more like 2.
The NRL have said there'll be no more rescue packages and the only thing holding Manly up is the Penn's money and I don't know how long they're gonna put up with losing it. It's grim, near broke now, no new revenue streams in sight, a ground that barely passes standard.
The knee jerk will be to ship them off to Perth or the highest bidder, but I don't think it's a good look for The NRL to have no teams north of Parramatta River until you hit Newcastle. I hope if they fold they let The Bears back and tell them to play 50/50 out of Gosford and North Sydney Oval.

Strong leagues club, and possibly the Gosford leagues club, Central Cost Stadium (or whatever it is called) is a great ground, probably the best NRL experience at any ground I've been to, and that is all of the Sydney grounds, except Redfern, Penrith and Cambelltown. And North Sydney Oval is also fairly high up the list, Brookvale always was a dump and it has gotten worse over the years.

This is Balmain Tigers Leagues Club just 7 years after it closed forever : https://lostcollective.com/gallery/balmain-leagues-club/Last I heard (start of this year) there were plans to use the location for an underground traffic tunnel entrance. I couldn't believe the state of the place when I looked at those pics.

It's good to see that Des Hasler, with all his experience and success is getting plenty of offers.

+xIt's good to see that Des Hasler, with all his experience and success is getting plenty of offers. He's done more than any other coach on the carousel at the moment with the exception of Bennett... Cleary?? Pfffft.... Seibold?? A good year with a team built by someone else... Madge - a single pre determined premiership... Cartwright???.. Pfft.... Barrett???. Needs a slappin... Des may have lost his way in the last couple of seasons... He did however get us to more grand finals than any of the above 'in demand' coaches have with their respective teams... #letitgo...
