The Dutch 2nd division is not of a great quality though , he'd be better off playing every week in the A League IMO

He definitely would have been better off staying for the season with Victory when he had to wait on the sidelines until turning 18 in hindsight, but I think with the training he's receiving at one of the best if not the best youth setup in the world and considering he's playing senior competitive games regularly I'd say he's doing alright, but that's just me.

Will probably do his ACL 20 minutes into his first team debut.

Agree, he's in the best place, would be great if he could break into the Ajax first team in the next couple years.

There are certainly guys his age in much worse positions clubwise, the only concern if there is one is that he's not really a stand out in that team which he probably needs to be in order to take the next step

Absolutely, and again he's still only 18, so if it takes another three years to become an Ajax first team regular at age 21 he'll still be far, far ahead of the Aussies Abroad curve, or the rest of world football for that matter.

Of all the young promising Aussies abroad he's the one I'm least worried about.

It's quite amazing to see how players bulk up and mature from age 18 to 22. 4 more years for a lot of our younger hopes. Many need those formative years to learn the ropes and suddenly they're a season pro and doing well by 25-26. I know other nations get young guns firing early but if we can have players peaking around 25-26 then I'm happy.

Sainsbury Behich bench

Going to be hearing that a lot now I think.

Anyone think Behich will last more than a season after the general talk of the PSV supporters?

Vuka starting against Brugge. Big match.

Karacic is doing well, full match and 2nd in the league, next match against leaders Dinamo Zagreb
Full match for Susnjar, regular starter now in Slovakia

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Honestly, supporters are stupid. Behich and Sains were absolutely fine that game. Isimat was way worse than Trent.

Abels is like their youngest payer by far and was fucking ridiculous at RB. But he is Nerthalands product so they're not going to target him are they.

Isimat, wouldn't be surprised if he put Sains in the shit that game. ESPN commentary was al over his shithouse performance & rightly so.

Maybe could've saved the second goal, not the others.

90 minutes for Williams in a 2-1 win over Swansea.

Leipzig winning 2:0. 2 attacking subs but neither are Leckie. His scoring ratio is just too low. Time to convert to RB full time I think. He can employ his speed, strength and engine there.

Sainsbury and Behich should have never moved to PSV in the first place, wasted on the bench as backups.

Wasn't Sainsbury captain at Grasshoppers? There's not a big gap between the Swiss and Dutch leagues afaik. The Eredivisie has declined quite rapidly for years now.

Moving to a club where you already know the coach, with top 3 team of the league and potentially play champions league..why should they have never moved? Especially for Sainsbury where he's been stuck in China, not playing.
Behich is a little different but, he probably wanted a change.
It's a little bit of hindsight.

Supporters can be licking windows and eating mud. Their intelligence is irrelevant. They pretty much influence a lot of what a club does. Especially in Europe. Calling them stupid, true or not, is pointless.
