Oh no. Kane headed deflected once then hits the knee on Sainsbury and goes in.

Sainsbury was organising the defence. The corner ball saw the defence move back then forward and Sainsbury was the very last man. Header goes into the elbow of one PSV player and bounces and hits Sainsbury on the knee and ricochets into the corner.
Sainsbury somewhat surprised but he's got to react and clear it there.

+x+xOh no. Kane headed deflected once then hits the knee on Sainsbury and goes in. Just Shit bad luck or bad error? Bit of both. Fucking bitter to watch. He's copping it on social media. Ffs he hasn't been given the match practice. Don't care what anyone says, we've seen him in very good performances. He needs consistent match time. He's definitely good enough to play each week. Unfortunately he's even further away from a start now. Cup loss against a 2nd div side and now this. The other PSV defenders have been caught out enough in the CL so it's all of them having a tough time at the higher level.

Since coming on Sainsbury was the one doing all the marshalling and insisting on line height. He got forward a fair bit too. Obviously following instructions. Despite the terrible mishap, he got out there with authority. Van Bommel knows him. I'd love nothing more than to see him start on the weekend but that's a pipe dream it seems.

+xI thought Degenek was top shelf. Backs to the wall in the second half, held on nicely. Where was he playing - CB or RB?

Bullshit defending. How do u let a man wide open directly in front , bang smack in the middle of the box take a header like that. Fuck me, all at fault there. I tell you what, the guy gaurding Kane who initially the ball deflected off, is lucky Trent got a piece of that or it would have been his OG

Both our overseas coaches struggling badly. Amazingly, Yokohama is only 2 points above the relegation zone with 3 games to go. They looked completely safe just a few matches ago.
Kewell is about to get sacked unless he gets a win very soon. 2 very lucky draws and 3 losses in the last 5. Grimly hanging on to the last non-relegation position. Judging by the Notts forum, the fans have completely turned on him and are almost unanimously calling for his head.
Next weekend is vital for both of them.

The team is obviously a rabble and not good enough, but there were promising signs when he first started. They got 11 points from his first 6 games in charge and things were looking up, but their form has nosedived again since then. The performances have apparently been abject in the last few weeks. Massive game on Saturday against Cheltenham, who are one place and 3 points below them in the standings. If they don't win that one, I'd say Kewell is in serious trouble. He needs to stop the rot somehow.

Jordan Lyden started and played a full game overnight for Oldham, in their 0-0 draw against Kewell’s Notts.

sometimes Sains can be too cool for the situation and it blows up in his face lol dissapointing.. but what do u expect when your father in law is national team head coach.. and with the dropping of wright there's no competition back there now... Dengs not going to start ahead of Sains... its a really bad situation for Sains to be in.

What the heck happened to Bailey Wright anyway? At first they were saying he was injured but were oddly non-specific about it. Now no one says anything at all. He's simply disappeared off the map.

Um, why the hostility? And what stats did I get wrong? They were sitting on 1 point when he signed. Initially there was a huge uptick in form. Like I said, they got 11 points from his first 6 games. Everyone on their forum was feeling quite positive. Then it all went pear-shaped again and now most of them are calling for him to be sacked. I thought I was just relaying facts.

I've actually been quite impressed with Kewell's coaching career so far and would love him to do well. I also think it would be a massive mistake for Notts to get rid of him now. I'm just worried about their recent dip in form and the apparent cacophony of fan voices calling for him to be sacked. I fear their owner will panic soon.

There have been articles quoting his manager saying 'Bailey is close to returning' for like 2-3 months now. He's still club captain too.
