+xNuh Tony, I missed it (deliberately). I can't stand listening to Mundines bull$hit and I'm not interested in boxing. 5 or 10 years ago I would have rejoiced but Mundine is just a pathetic caricature of himself nowadays..quite pitiful really

I have been reading about the NRL bandying the idea of a 20-40 kick. I think they need to seriously trial it for it's validity and I am not sure if it would be successful. Rugby League in its' raw for is a simple game and I have come to the conclusion that saturating it with new rules will only confuse the players even further. As we are all well aware, there are some players out there that are having trouble understanding the rules as they now stand without further complicating the game for them.

The last thing we want is more kicking for touch and breaks in play... Leave our game alone you filthy wanna be pollies and focus on fixing the crap that needs a fixin - dawdling to the 50 for a sin bin, the bunker, the shot clock, TPA's, refs managing a game, pathways to first grade, game day entertainment... Or in other words most of crap you implemented which has failed... #todd&comustgo... #dismantkethearlc...

What will be the NRLol's Reffing crackdown for 5 or 6 rounds next season before they fold like a house of cards and the CEO publicly throws the refs under the bus again???... #Todd&comustgo... #dismantlethearlc...

Which glamorous destination is Peter Beattie flying to this week at the games expense???... Calls for the likes of Fiji to become part if the NRLol or Intrust are a joke... Plenty can be learnt from Super Rugby's slide into irrelevance through saturation especially in AUS... #dismantlethearlc...

I agree on time wasting, there is a simple way to speed up the walk to the bin, have a timer clock, if it goes off, the player gets a bonus 5 minutes. Time how long it should take a professional athlete to walk of the field (via the shortest route) and give 5 seconds grace. Similar with shot clocks/ drop out clocks etc, work out of the current time limit seems generous and reduce it, can reduce by 2 seconds each season. I want player running to scrums to pack them quickly, and I want fewer scrums, some things that are scums could be simple handovers, even play on, when a ball is dropped and the opposition pick it up cleanly. #LetTheGameFlow

Refs way to quick to blow the whistle on a dropped ball and not allow 'play on'... Plus I'm no fan of the whole 'loose carry' thing, if the ball goes backwards why the hell is play being stopped... Also too many stoppages with a player injured in backplay... If they're not in the way play the hell on!!!... And make them play the god damn bal with their foot!!!... Controlling the ptb speed via wrestling is IMO linked directly to the touch football ptb style the refs allowed to creep into the game to encourage a faster game... 5 minute sin bins for repeated infringements inside the 10, give the refs ownership of their role and if they need to bin 2 or 3 players in the same set so be it... #todd&comustgo... #dismantlethearlc...

The 20m restart for ITIG needs to be looked at too... I don't think rolling a ball dead from an attacking kick 5m out trying to score a try is what the rule was meant for... NRLol trying to get more action thru the hands and now wants to implement a 20/40??? I'm guessing the boffins will be saying 'if the wingers a back on every play it will encourage more expansive footy'... Bullsh1t... How long u til Todd&co float the idea of lineouts and kicking out on the full from in goal.... #inept...

The thing is, they are saying it allows a team that is being defensively held in their own 20 a chance to advance away from their try line......... well if they aren't good enough in attack or the opposition defence is too good, bad luck, learn to play a more expansive attack. Plus the glam/pet teams always get a penalty to get them out if their red zone anyway. 20/40 a waste of time and energy to even give a thought to.

Our game should reward great defence, not create avenues of escape... Another great idea Todd&co... Cos all us fans love seeing the entire game played in the middle of the park... Just turn the game into tag 9's and be done with it... #leaveourgamealone...

The game needs to harden up not soften down. As Moose Mossup would say bring back the biff. It is alright to have the forwards to stamp their mark and authority early in the game, as it sets a good entertaining level. And what I mean by the biff is not outright thuggery either, just good solid honest contact to set the standard.

+xWe only wanted him for his double barrel surname. We are collecting them you see..... Only need James Fisher-Harris, Regan Campbell-G illard and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak out of penrith as well as Addin Fonua-Blake from Manly and we are just about there! That makes sense. I wondered what new tactic they'd try after they quit the Josh collection...

Thought she was cute but come to think of it she probably was not cute and more hungry than anything else.

Dogs have Tyrone Taukamo listed as a Jersey Flegg player for next year. Was the most sought after junior a couple of years back. Massive unit. Could be the next Karl McNichol/Jakob Loko/Moses Suli though.

Williams, the big unit that looked good running around in Flegg with SBW. Then there was John Kite, we are able to turn out guys that look like Tarzan and play like Jane. EDIT:: When I went to school no one was called Tyrone or Jaydn. Parents are naming their kids off bible misprints.

Tony, the thing is, this was a different era, and almost a different game. This is why us oldies hang sh!t on the NRL admin of recent times with some of the changes they have proposed or introduced.

While I agree with zefs sentiments earlier this week re Bennet, I couldn't help but laugh my ass off today hearing seibold has had a 'gutload" of the coaching swap delay... No doubt part of the broncs and seibolds plan was to sign early and put pressure on Wayne to leave... Then when he signed with souths they though how clever are we... It was a dumb plan to think you'd get one over Wayne... The smart move now is to suck up their pride, sack him and pay him out...

+xhd every time I hear the name Tyrone, it automatically reminds me of Tyrone Shoelaces, Basketball Jones, Cheech and Chong. Cheech and Chong "What's your name Bob?" works. Edit: For those that don't know the sketch, this was a quiz show question. "What's your name Tyrone?" doesn't work - must be hard work being a comedian these days
