+x+x+xThis home invasion - death I feel will have some more twists and turns.... I mean, what business does a muscle man like that have in someone else's house whilst the owners are in there? He doesnt look like he is poor and looking to steel a VCR, so unless the owner had an 85inch samsung TV and the bandit wanted to see if he could carry it, it can only point to being under influence of drugs (at which karma came and got him) or he knows the owner and we dobt know the full story yet..... Interesting to see how this unfolds.... Just on the topic..... authorities say you can use reasonable force to protect yourself, family and property.... Does that mean you can use a driver on the bandits head or a wedge? I kinda like the wedge.... The broomstick... It is all about perception...how can any court say the home owner didn't feel threatened. He didn't know if the intruder had a concealed weapon. This case the intruder was a muscle bound guy...I would mot like the prospect of going toe to toe with him. It would be a grave miscarriage if the police chrged him with anything. The intruder was not a 97 lb weakling. And it has been reported he had mental issues. The guy should be lauded not condemned. I dont disagree. If anything, this whole incident has brought to light the wording of the law that many arent aware of. Irrespective of the circumstances, I believe the police are best advised to not make the owner the criminal here, and use this incident as a deterrent for any other would-be thieves it break-and-enter violators.

If you can't defend yourself and your family in your own home, then society is totally fked up. If someone has broken into your home, it's obvious their intentions aren't honourable. And as has been mentioned, you wouldn't know what weapons they have concealed. If it happened to me I would have no hesitation to use use whatever force is necessary to keep my family from harm, consequences can be dealt with at a later date.

+x+xBulldogs Squad for Canberra trial: Nick Meaney Reimis Smith Kerrod Holland Will Hopoate Christian Crichton Kieran Foran Lachlan Lewis Aiden Tolman Michael Lichaa Dylan Napa Josh Jackson Raymond Faitala-Mariner Adam Elliott Jeremy Marshall-King Danny Fualalo Corey Harawira-Naera Ofahiki Ogden Sauaso Sue Chris Smith Jack Cogger Marcelo Montoya Jayden Okunbor John Olive Rhyse Martin Morgan Harper Francis Tualau Renouf To'omaga Tui Katoa Jesse Marschke I think there's some pointers to RND 1 there. I think the first 13 will be run on for RND 1. Its all very exciting... Cmon Lich and Foz!... Looking at our line up and the other teams we are going to need to get something in attack out of Nick Meaney, Reimis Smith, and Kerrod Holland. We are lacking a big forward who can drag in defenders and get an offload, RFM is probably the most likely candidate. We do have back rowers who can run a good line, and if we are moving the ball well, we are a chance to get some space on the edges. We will play well but may need a bit of attacking X-factor to get over the line, Foz 100% healthy will help. #BringOnNRL2019

+x+xPhil only played a few minutes for Newtown. Tore his achilles then retired. He is very well and living in Earlwood. Still goes to the club every week. Glad to hear he's well. It sounds like he's more of a legendary character than ever. As was Bullfrog for keeping him & Bill at the club for 9 years. I can't think of any other instance the same 2 props have stayed at a club for 9 years. Certainly not recently. Maybe the old dominant Souths & St George teams did decades ago, not sure, I wasn't around then. Phil Charlton would always be last out of the tunnel and then would sprint as fast as he could...like Kiwi overtaking the opposition in the Melbourne Cup and be first at the centre. That is in his starting games. He was our super-sub in the late 70s. Not sure how many he actually started in

+x2ue mcquarie sports radio sayingDylan napa will miss the 1st4 rounds greenberg will suspend Him just heard it now So 2 games a video, or two games for all videos including unreleased?.. If two more videos get released in in end 4 does he get suspended again... If this is true, its a disgraceful way to treat a victim of crime...

Big T
It’s just gossip mate, anyway... if the club gets handed a suspension for Napa, I’d be calling Dman QC to fight the charge
Even if this guy was still playing for the scummy Roosters, it would be an injustice to be suspended.
Again.... all the while Inglis gets off for committing a farking drink driving crime ffs!

Youd hardly need a QC to rip anything the NRLol has done or will do shreds... NRLol determined losing captaincy and missing two tests was punishment enough for GI... Probably reasonable... What was not reasonable was Tough Talkin Toddy's hailing him as a hero for 'owning it' and providing a reference to the court...

What a joke, strip whoever he was playing for at the time of the videos a premiership, that makes sense or more sense than penalising our club for something a player did before he joined (that isn't even his fault). Next the Dogs will need to stand down players for failing Primary School Maths, if it comes to that, Dutchy will need to win 1 against 17 :)

It's a wonder Greenturd hasn't come out and fined and/or stripped points from the Dogs because poor old Tim Pickup went missing because of dementia. This stooge is using anything he can to accuse us of bringing the game into disrepute. It is painfully obvious he has some hidden agenda that involves us and he is not letting it go.

Many would have read the bit from the CEO and I find him quite refreshing and never patronising (unlike his predecessor). Interesting that proxy votes have been changed so as to allow postal votes instead...no more Dib stacking the deck...imagine how he would have gone if there had been NO proxy votes. Tony...I think you would have been impressed by Warren O'Donnell...a great person to have on the recruiting team.

Dan Ginnane just went to town on the Dogs for the talk of the Bulldogs looking at resigning Dean Pay after 1 season....
He’s of the view to wait, let’s see results & then open discussion!
This he believes is a reaction to that ‘Germ’ Weidler’s article that Dogs were allegedly going to push Pay out for Anderson’s son to take over

I cant see any other club "stealing him" from us so there is no need to repeat the K Moore situation. In fact, K Moore actually got us to 1 game shy of the GF in 2009 when we accelerated his renewal the following year and he was then sacked before it even finished! I would think that no extension is necessary until June.

+x This he believes is a reaction to that ‘Germ’ Weidler’s article that Dogs were allegedly going to push Pay out for Anderson’s son to take over Find it highly unlikely our board and CEO would jumping because of some article written by that grub or by the story (by another hack Ready) which motivated ginnanes blow up... I doubt he will be re-signed in the first 6-8 weeks of the comp.. Sure talks are underway; that's more about stability and environment for players minds... If in 8 weeks we're struggling, talks will continue... I don't expect there'd be many a club beating down Deans door yet... Or many legendary first grade coaches beating down ours... And with coaches merry go round every year there no rush... Our CEO and board are smart enough to know that... Or theyve seen enough to know we'll win the comp this year and next and wanna lock him up cheap pre Caching Cap...

No f'n chance i would say. 1st of all Hill is talking about extending Pay and 2ndly that would almost be political suicide for the Andersons. Lynn is way too smart to even consider such a move.
