Why not. All his transfer fees have contributed to us signing Honda. He is still a quality player too.

His family is obviously the most important thing to him at this stage of his career,  so can understand the uncertainty in moving overseas once again.  

However I think it would be bad for him to come back to Melbourne, to any club. He needs to go somewhere else if he decides to stay in Aus. If he signed with CCM on marquee wages that's probably the best thing for him and his fam.

I don't think he would be recieved all that well if he signed with us for 549th time, let alone signing for City

Unless he's happy to settle down with a multi year contract playing defence, then I could definitely see it happening.

Hoping for a return to the V for the new kits. Find them a bit boring otherwise...haven't bought a new one in recent seasons for this reason

I would think plenty, considering the players that have left, Troisi is marquee and we only have a squad of 16. 

I read on FoxSport that they will be wanting to use the 3 + 1 rule in the ACL.
So I’d say muscat will target to more imports for the final in the attacking roles!
Our new German centre back will probably drop out as Deng can move into that position with roux covering for him!

I think we'll definitely sign a striker. Kenny seems like a perfect Plan B option- but it would be an incredible waste (imo) to not have a proven quality player in front of Honda. 

don't you think we're a bit light on for midfielders, even with Hope? Assuming Troisi plays on the left and Honda plays as AM, that leaves Antonis, Valeri, Hope and Broxy. With Valeri and Broxy past their best (Broxy might be used as a backup fullback anyway) I feel we are a bit thin in that area. The club recently tried to sign Danny Holla, so Kev clearly agrees with this.

This creates an issue for us, because if the club signs a DM visa player, it means we only have one visa spot left to sign either a striker or a winger (an area which is also a bit thin). If the club signs a winger, does that mean they think King Kenny is up to the task? Or if they sign a striker, does that mean we will play more of a narrow formation with our lack of wingers? It would help greatly if we were able to sign an Australian winger or striker, but what options are available to us?

Kosta still takes up a foreign spot. With Niedermeier and Honda now taking up foreign spots we can still sign two more foreign players. My prediction is we will attempt to get a foreign striker and then the fifth foreign spot will stay open until later in the season. 

How many spots have we got left and is Kosta still counted as a foreign player? Surely he’d be able to qualify as an Aussie by now

Anyway, did he say 'big' signings? I thought he mentioned that there would be more signings (not necessarily BIG signings).
I'm thinking a foreign striker would be on the list, though wouldn't hate seeing King Kenny up front come round 1. We know he has basically said the defence is set, so mids and wingers/ forwards. As to who, who knows. Pala mentioned Rojas, but doubt he will be back just yet.
