GUNGAHLIN UNITED FORFEIT FFA CUP MATCH

Capital Football has deemed that Gungahlin United FC has forfeited the FFA Cup 2019 Capital Football Preliminary Round 4 Match against the UC Pumas FC, pursuant to the Competition Regulations.

In reviewing the team sheet from the match, it was apparent that a Gungahlin player was not registered on Play Football until after the match was played and therefore was deemed to be an ineligible player.

This decision is made in accordance with the 2019 FFA Cup Supplementary Competition Regulations (specifically, Section 3, Article 1a).

Results from Round of 16 Capital Football
* Bold clubs are NPL 1

Riverina Rhinos 0 - 3 ANU FC

Tigers FC 1 - 0 Monaro Panthers
Gungahlin United 4 - 1 UC Pumas - Match forfeited, as per above
Canberra FC 6 - 1 Brindabella

Would love to see Belconnen qualify from ACT, they were great to have in the NSW leagues roughly 15 years ago.

Don’t need hot and cold balls, if a unfavourable Draw comes up they can delete and re do it.

we start our cup run tonight away to Gerringong, should be a comfortable win however we have struggled to even get close to qualifying for the round of 32.

If they were trying to rig the draw, what would they be trying to achieve?
Keeping the bigger clubs apart? Favourable draw for (???). Which clubs are the FNSW darlings?

I've heard FFA considering rewarding state performance as part of the slot allocation in future years, as soon, 2 states will lose slots. Might be some half slots in there as a result

what about the draw being conducted yesterday lol but show it today.

you can tell this as there were results last night where they still said winner of match x vs winner of match y but that match was already played. i.e Sutherland sharks result

what a farce Football NSW is.

Agree, pretty much every other state does a live draw, the biggest state has to do a pre-recorded draw...

The draw was obviously done yesterday as they didn’t include games played last night. Very suspicious that most npl clubs drew association teams with only Blacktown city drawing Blacktown Spartans from npl2.
