Only mildly disappointed with Eric, Joey, and Tobi. The rest I’m absolutely okay with. A clean out was for sure needed and we sure got one.

The only one I would have been ok with staying is Eric. The rest need to go and more. Tongyk is too much an old school CB. Just hoof it clear, not what we need of we are going back to attractive football. 

However that announcement means bowles and pepper are still on the books for next season which is not good at all. Hopefully both are relegated to squaddies that play 1 or 2 games and are on the bench no more than 8 games. We need 2 starting CB's that will play 25 games next season. With regarding as the backup.

D’Aggers has a contract that doesn’t finish until next seasons end. Same with Bowles.

Epic that Fowler will have the full compliment of 5 visa spots to play with. Keen to see the caliber of player he can attract to the league.

Agree, I don't think he did anything wrong but we have a decent young keeper in the academy set up that deserves a shot.(In my opinion)

Freke certainly deserves his shot whether he be 2nd or 3rd in line.

It must. But that’s still a big ask. 

I know ... that’s why I’m a big surprised. Eric may not be the best visa player but he’d be in the top 3 at every club.

It’s the only reason I’d have kept Eric - finding 4 will be tough. (I don’t dislike him just as a marquee his temperament needed to be better). 

But kets say Fowler signed two or three from:

Kosta
O’Donovan 
Krishna 
Taylor 

if he has 2-3 visa players that know the comp it will de-risk it. 

Taylor’s contracted for next season.

You get the point though, not brining in 5 visa players from overseas would be a good thing. 

Best thing about the clearout is that Fowler will get to own next year's results (including the performance/recruitment of the visa players).  So hopefully it's a fit, disciplined squad playing attractive football that restores some pride to the jersey.
