Great free kick by Gundogan so far away from Ryan seals the title for City.

Goals galore in England. Spurs just levelled again but Arsenal would have needed many more goals anyway for 4th.

And Liverpool only lost to City right? Such a massive season from those two.

Just noticed James Holland helped LASK to second in Austria with red bull fc winning their 5th on the bounce. Will go into champions league qualifiers, maybe a chance to make Europa group stages. Unlikely to make it back to the national team but good to see him doing well.

Jeggo ended 6th with Austrian Wien which I think would be disappointing.

Holy fuck. Chris Hughton has just been sacked after guiding Brighton to EPL safety for the second season in a row after getting them promoted.

I frequent the Brighton fan forums and literally no one saw this coming. Some fans did want him sacked due to the boring football but almost everyone agreed his job was safe as houses whilst Brighton continued to stay up.

Really hope this doesn’t affect Maty’s place in the team. It shouldn’t of course, as he’s done well for them as their undisputed #1 consistently for two seasons now, but you never know with a new manager...

It is a bit odd with Brighton as they seemed very happy with their manager. They were around 10th place on January and just scraped through.

Yeah it's quite crazy how a new manager can even bench someone like Ryan due to a new style or playing favourites. Crazy world.

could easily happen.  looks like a potentially shitty year coming for ryan.  i think his boss will land a job as soon as he wants one.  playing a 4 5 1 in defence with murray up front, but in their own half, seemed a bit daft though.  they had nothing to lose but they set themselves up to solely defend.  i suppose that kind of thing happens when survival is on the line, the team falls into a defensive mentality.

It's just insane. On the one hand we think he'd do well at another club with a coach who wants him yet to fear he could be benched at a club that loves him only due to the new boss.

The forum must think poorly of Ryan if they think his job is in jeopardy because the manager is changing

It’s not that anyone thinks poorly of him, it’s just that these things happen in football when a new manager comes in.

Look at what happened with Joe Hart at City for example. A Manager comes in who wants to play a new style and you’re done, regardless of ability.

If Brighton sign a Manager who insists he needs a 6’5” GK for whatever reason then it is a risk.

Brighton have sacked their manager! A little surprising.

Celtic fans want Rogic gone in other news... some saying sell him at first chance. Appaprently dreadful in derby loss (oh no).

Good news for him , might be gone soon. haha. We wanted him gone almost as soon as he started... nothing new for us.

Iranian football is reporting that GK Beiranvand is potentially heading to RKC Genk, the home of Vuka, which would be a big challenge for him.

Joe Hart is rubbish, after Pep binned him, he failed in Italy and for England and can’t even start for Burnley. If Ryan is good enough he will continue to start.

Hard to tell since he hasn't played much football this season. Chianese took his potential spot essentially...which is fair enough as Italiano had an injury and isnt with us next season.

I was excited when he played under Lowe and was hoping he would be a key player along with Castro and Ikon this year. But in his one game this season he was a bit rusty and didnt light up the pitch...which was expected due to being out for a while. But still...suspect he may be following the steps of Yeboah unfortunately but hopefully proven wrong. Same club Yeboah started at from memory too.

The most in form striker eligible for Australia is this guy

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mattia-montini/profil/spieler/130368

7 goals in 10 appearances in the Romanian league

Adam Taggart is also in good form but my criticism of Taggart is his lack of physical attributes; not tall enough, fast enough or strong enough just someone who can shoot well.

We really oughta take a look at montini, no other striker we have is in better form by a long stretch apart from maybe Taggart who also deserves a call up

Agreed. A problem area for us. Worth a look.
