ALP has downgraded its expectations.

The most they can get now is 76 but that is at a huge stretch.

LNP look like a chance for 77 to 78 seats

Great speech from the great man himself Tony Abbott.

He said we have good news and a little bit of bad news. The bad news I have lost but the real good news and this is far more important is that the Coalition has every chance to be returned to Government.

Bravo Tones for taking one for the team so selflessly!

Man I would pay money to see the look on Bill Shortens face right now

You and me both.

Hopefully this finishes him him off and he scurried back under a rock.

Early info from NT is that ALP are at risk of losing both lower house seats to the LNP.

Just keeps getting better and better!

This election has helped reinforce what we learnt from the 2016 US election. When you have a shit lite party running against a shit party, the shit party will win.

The Labor Party need to stop serving the Coal, gas and gambling lobbies that have bought both parties and actually serve the people and not their donors.

If I understand it now, all the house or rep votes are being counted and shown. Aren't the senate votes also being counted? I suppose the senate really takes a back seat as the house of reps forms the government.

That's right, and it's also because the Senate votes take a lot longer to count due to preferences.

I'd like to take this chance to repeat my pet peeve of seats not being given geographical names, forming a barrier of obfuscation between the ruler and the ruled.

How many of you could name your division if asked, on any other day?

No penalty rates and don't worry about the seawater around your ankles in Alice Springs.

I'm so stuck where I stand. If Labor wins, can they implement all those critical things they go on about? I really cannot see anyone implementing a complete overhaul and reform to get big firms paying their taxes with them shipping off abroad. Liberal have so many issues too and I fear another 3 years of stagnation and being gobbled up by inflation.

Maybe we can secede.

That may be the best option at this point.

What proves this is that Queenslanders and NSW people probably also wouldn't have voted for Dan. We're not the same.

At this point I want us and Tassie to be kicked out of the federation.

Even if it crippled SA’s economy, I still wouldn’t be against it.

An SA vs Vic WCQ would be awesome.
