+xMaty played the full game as Brighton thrashed Birmingham City 4-0 in a friendly in Birmingham overnight. Maty yet to concede this pre season.  Got him in fantasy for the saves. Young Trossard at Brighton is a gun. I'll have him in the team.

Iredale is in a good place. Wolfsburg have those big strikers. Glad he's hit the ground running.

+x+xAnge playing Man City tonight.  Will be interesting such styles going against each other. Losing 1-3, but only with the last goal in the 92nd minute, after rotating pretty much his entire team on the 75th minute, against what looks very much like a first team City side. heard they picked up 58% possession against man city. very likely the only time that guardiola's man city team have had less possession

+xGood news is Sainsbury seems to be fighting it out. Let’s be honest though, he hasn’t been great for Aus since World Cup and by all reports nobody in Holland rates him on performance.  I used to hate having Sterjovski or Carney starting for Australia years ago. Thing is, they were match fit compared to my preferred and favourite players. It generally got us the results. They were sharp.  We could experiment by benching Sainsbury and starting with Wright or Susnjar with Degenek. Concede early then we're all screaming how our best is benched.

I would pick Ange based on what he achieved at the Roar

Concede early then we're all screaming how our best is benched.  every time we play players without regular club time the NT struggles there are so many options in each position now. the quality gap between the first 11 and the next choice is so small the regular game time completely overcomes it. it's not like we have a kewell or viduka or schwarzer or cahill that we are making a tough call about. it's sainsbury,  or it's been kruse or smith or something. nice if they are in good form. no great loss if they aren't.

Achillies tendon according to twitter. Either way it’s bad news. This opens the door for the likes of Redmayne, Thomas or maybe even Izzo to break into the Roos squad.

+xAchillies tendon according to twitter. Either way it’s bad news. This opens the door for the likes of Redmayne, Thomas or maybe even Izzo to break into the Roos squad. Yup, looks like Achilles rupture. Not as bad as ACL but very unfortunate

Antonis on, 61' By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

What a beautiful cross frm Antonis to Taggart to valley helping Suwan Bluewings winning Deagu 2-0 in a tough away game.
What a debut from Antonis and and 8 games in a row now for Adam Taggart including against Juventus that he scored. A top scorer with 13 goals continues. Taggart is in his best form of his career.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_K_League_1Interesting stats here about the crowd averages. The foreign player list is insightful. If any of these Brazilians led the scoring by 3 goals (maybe 4 with the next Taggart goal?) they'd be on the list of European clubs.

Hulk certainly did well in Europe after playing in Asia, but he's clearly a cut above.
