+x+xHow in the world have arguably our best footballers managed to find themselves on the outer at the majority of their clubs? Is tt the fact that they are Aussies that they can't get deals over the line? is there extra costs by being a non-EU player, clubs paying for travel. Or are these guys actually not that good? This shouldn't be happening. He's on huge wages at QPR nearly double most of his teammates.. I think clubs are realising he's just not worth that much... my bet is he ends up in China - for money. it's cause his team mates are shit

+x+xRene priscopo is going to Wellington Source? Jason Pine tweeted it. It would be an impressive signing imo, especially as he was linked with quite a few Serie B clubs.

HULL CITY HAVE BROUGHT IN A FOURTH NEW RECRUIT ON DEADLINE DAY WITH THE SIGNING OF DEFENDER CALLUM ELDER FROM LEICESTER CITY.Elder, who plays predominantly as a left back, joins for an undisclosed fee and has signed a three-year deal that includes a club option of a further year. The 24-year-old Australian moved to England as a 16-year-old to join Leicester’s Academy before gaining his first taste of senior football during a loan period with Mansfield Town. He has since had temporary spells with Peterborough United, Brentford, Barnsley, Wigan Athletic and Ipswich Town. Head Coach Grant McCann is pleased to add Elder to his squad, saying: “We brought Callum to Peterborough United when I was the assistant manager there and he was excellent. He’s had a number of other loan spells, too, but it was important that he found a home and he’s got that here for the next three years. He adds further competition to the group.”

Not sure if it has been mentioned but Brad Smith has extended his loan at Seattle until the end of the MLS season. https://www.soundersfc.com/post/2019/07/31/brad-smith-excited-stay-seattle-ready-second-half-season

Gianni Stensness has done a Hoole.
He rejected a new contract at the Nix because he wanted to go overseas but hasn’t found a club and is now trialling at CCM.

The EPL and Championship windows have closed but who else are possibly transferring/going on loan.
Free Agents: Mile Jedinak James Meredith Tomi Juric (or is he still contracted to Luzern?)
Possible loans: Tyrese Francois (Fulham) - seems unlikely to play much role in 1st team, has been a regular in u/23's for past few seasons. Ben Folami (Ipswich) - been injured, started back at the u/23's last month. Seen some speculation he could go out on loan.
Any players I've missed?

"Aussie defender Haris Stamboulidis, who holds dual citizenship with Greece, has signed with Segunda Division (La Liga 2) club Extremadura UD. The 22-year-old left-back, who grew up in Melbourne, most recently played for Greek Super League side Aris Thessaloniki" https://twitter.com/AleagueHub/status/1160408709891125248

Didn't make a senior appearance for Thessaloniki last season, and knowing who was behind this move (his agent), I wouldn't rule out that same possibility.

He has made 77 league appearances in 6 seasons and 34 of those were in China. Surprised he has kept it together for the NT for so long.

+xDylan Fox to CCM confirmed. Interesting signing. I thought he was solid when called upon at the Nix but I see him as a good backup player rather than a starter (Which he probably will be at CCM).

The fact juric and Jedinak have been quiet shows me they are coming to the A-League. European seasons have started in 9/10 leagues so I’d assume they are coming to oz.
its a shame for Juric because he’s decent but with Jedinak he deserves the break
