+xCan’t remember so many youth camps at once. U17 back in Canberra after a camp last month and are flying out to Leicester soon for international friendlies. U15s in camp in August too after their AFF tournament earlier this month. U19 got another camp in September for their November AFC qualifiers. We need our lads training together more often so long may this continue! Yes it's great to see the increase in training camps, tours and friendlies.

+x+xGood win though, missed the game so I’ve only seen the scoreline, how did we go though? the passing speed has increased from previous year we are a fraction more conservative too. Not much, 10% or so but it did mean we got outpossessed by vietnam technical standard was same as previous years. Finishing has gone from awful from a few years ago to below average. Take ons and creativity is creativity as it has been for the last few years thats my opinion anyway Thanks for the round up, Grazor. I cannot access the games on a decent size computer.

Al Hassan Toure is 19 as I thought he might be a useful No.9 option for the young Socceroos, he looks a good prospect.
Jez Lofthouse should be another name to be considered as well but he looks also to be too old for the current group too.

Touré is too old unfortunately - however with our paucity of striking talent a few good games should see him in contention for Olyroos selection.

Marty Fernandez who scored an awesome goal tonight from Marconi is a '00 born player, who has been playing really well this season, ex WSW youth, I'm pretty sure. Could be (and should be) one to look out for A-League/Olyroos. Damian Tsekenis at Marconi as well is eligible for the Young Socceroos being '01 born. Marconi doing bits with youth development this season.

The next batch of Joeys who competed in the AFF u15 championship has a squad announced for the upcoming AFC u16 qualifiers for the u16 championship in 2020. Alots of the same players but also some new ones to keep an eye on too. https://www.socceroos.com.au/news/joeys-venture-vietnam-2020-afc-u-16-championship-qualification-focus

Think Lachlan Brooks replaced Rene who has/had a hammy injury? Also think Sam Silvera (CCM) has gone into camp, believe I saw a snap of him with the fellas.

Brandon Wilson was super impressive at CB last tournament. I wonder if Perth see him as a Spira replacement there.

+xAnyone got a stream for tonights game? "For those asking, there will be no broadcast of tonight's game. However, we are working towards a live stream for Monday's fixture in Campbelltown."

1-1 56' McGree 71' Lewis
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Poor effort in 2019. Literally they could have just let one of the players' mates live streaming it from their phone and it would be better than nothing. What a joke.

His team was totally out played by the Kiwis and they got lucky with the goal. If they lose in Campbelltown on Monday do you think he will still have a job?>

He's just taking care of it for Arnie till the January qualifiers. Ps i have always wondered do you live in Oz or NZ?
