+xI don't have anything like JS's knowledge of the German game, but for an apples and apples comparison if you look at last season you have Daniel Hanslik as Wolfsburg II's and Regionalliga Nord's top goalscorer with 19 goals getting a free transfer to Holstein Kiel in 2.Bundelsiga. Iredale is easily on track for as many goals, and is two years younger. Thanks Pala, that’s encouraging.

I know this is probably s teammate saying nice things about this mate but Souttar’s CB partner at Fleetwood (who played a few epl games at Everton) reckons Souttar has potential to make the EPL: https://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-fleetwood-harry-souttar-3290020

It's always interesting whether the statement is genuine or just being nice. He can't be worse than Zouma!

+x+x+x+xCan we stop with pinching of shit Scottish players.  I mean given we have only Degenek, Behich, Jeggo, Rogic and Giannou playing European football this season, it’s ridiculous to call this lad shit. He’s 17, you’ve never seen him play, and you’re calling him shit. Says more about you than him tbf. He looks to be a great talent, highly regarded in the Scottish system, and will add to our setup.  What about the Scottish setup? How do you think they feel.  Were you around when Josip Simunic who was produced wholly by Australia chose to play for Croatia despite them having nothing to do with his development. I don't even know who this lad is. Im just pissed off players dont play for national teams/federation's that actually had a major hand in producing them as footballers.  Josip Simunic, Tony Dorigo, Craig Johnston and now Alex Robertson are exactly why I want these players to play for Australia. European nations are always going to try and poach our best youngsters so why shouldn’t we do the same? I want Australia to perform well at World Cups so why wouldn’t we choose the best players who qualify for our team.  Add Antony Seric, Ivan Ergic, Ersan Golum and Joey Didulica to this also. Albeit in Didulica case we called him up many times but didnt cap him so he went to croatia

Majak Mawith (Port Melbourne), Peter Deng (Heidelberg United), Mathiang Mathiang (Brunswick City), Friday Zico (Armadale SC), Jackson Morgan (Stirling Lions), Denis Yongule (Geelong SC) and Kenny Athiu (Melbourne Victory) all represented South Sudan over the international break.

Massive. Well done to all and well done to the clubs for producing international talent.

Pennington scored in Serie C  (1:29)  https://youtu.be/W6mWVU29QZU?t=89 By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

What a lifestyle he's living atm, train, don't play then get paid millions.  Bet he's useless as camel dung against Kuwait as well lol Here's to hoping he's in top form though

+x+x+x+xRogic makes Celtic's Europa League squad for the group stages, while Arzani misses out. Not good Not too much of a big deal. He hasn't even played yet since being injured. No doubt they will ease him back with a few games with the reserves first then onto seniors.  This...  That said, he does have a lot of competition for a place in the match day squad, let alone for a starting role.  One thing in his favour is the amount of matches Celtic play each season. time to come back to Oz Daniel and just focus on playing again.

+x+xAaron Mooy must be gagging for a run. I don't think he has played 1 game of EPL yet has he ? Only one 5 min cameo I believe. He's going to be bursting with energy at some point and Brighton will use it.  He played a full cup game

Can you track down Panos Armenikas for an interview? would be interested to hear where he thinks his career is at, never seems to be playing.

Yeah, Damian how do you pick your interviewees for this segment? For those players gone off the radar it would be interesting to hear from them. Also can I suggest having a chat to some of the Aussie players who took the college pathway and now trying their luck in europe post college? Like Rafa Jimenez and Haris Stamboulidis. Would be interesting to get their take on this pathway.

+x+x+x+x+xRogic makes Celtic's Europa League squad for the group stages, while Arzani misses out. Besides Manchester City, Melbourne City and New York City, what other teams come under the 'City Football Group' umbrella?? If Man City want to send him out on loan again (next season), what could be a possible and realistic destination(s)??

+x+xCan we stop with pinching of shit Scottish players. If he plays for the Huns = He's shit 😋🤣

Yokohama F Marinos (Ange's team) in minority owned by CFG and Girona (Spanish Segunda) is half owned by CFG and half by Pep Guardiola's brother. They also have a habit of sending players on loan to NAC Breda.
