I think for a player In Arzani’s position a change of scenery and working yourself back to fitness will do him good. He is guaranteed football. If he was starting for Celtic and in mid season than I can see an issue but not the current circumstance. He is guaranteed nothing in the first team right now.

+x+x+xAt this stage it is better for him, guaranteed football. As good as he is he hardly had played full games. Celtic fans will have a sook regardless lol We had a sook when we lost Galloway when he had to go camp and stupid games for the olyroos. Yes he'll get game time with the roos but he'll end up lower in the pecking order when he comes back to celtic So Celtic doesn’t admire players who get national team call ups?! Wtf?! If Arzani kills in matches for the Olyroos or Socceroos then Celtic should RAISE him up in the pecking order- not down. Aaron Mooy scored for Socceroos recently and was given his first start for Brighton Epl game 2 days ago as a result.

+x+x+x+xneeds to get out... got no chance with that 17 yo Karamoko Dembele there. Dembele has left Celtic now so Arzani has decent chance again... When did he leave? I think you are confusing Moussa with Karamoko. Yep- Sorry- my bad. Moussa left- not Karamoko ;-) Arzani still has serious competition for game time then :-(( He has plenty of competition for a place in the match day squad. There is plenty of depth in the wing department.

+x+xI don't blame Celtic for not playing him. He might be over his injury, but even before his injury he wouldn't have lasted 90min, now he probably has a good bit of conditioning to do before considering starting him, and would they be likely to throw him on as a sub without the potential to use him more? For Celtic/SPL, in terms of skill level he is more than good enough. However he needs to be confident of his body, and he needs fitness/conditioning. I hope there is open and honest discussion between him and the coaching staff as to what is best for him, as it's to the benefit of nobody of him just hanging about unless he is just there for the training sessions. Why did he go to Scotland? Must be dirty on himself. He can sit on a bench till he gets fed up, then go to dutch league. Well obviously he thought it was a good move and that he was ready. Wasn't he? I don't know, I don't know enough about sports science to know whether it was a factor in his injury or whether it was just unlucky. Either he was ready and he got unlucky, he wasn't ready and it was a factor in his injury, or he wasn't ready but despite that it wasn't a factor in his injury. Even if the latter is true, they may well have known he wasn't ready yet but had a plan to get him there over time.

Now ay he would have gone to any other club in Scotland

+x+x+xHe isn’t a kid, he turns 21 in Jan. As for being a superstar, he is similar age to Pulisic, who also comes from a non-football country, just think about that for a moment Still a kid. Didn't call him a superstar. Don't think he will ever become one. When will he stop being a kid? When he is no longer eligible for under 21.

Celtic won’t even miss him or notice he’s gone anyway... They let him rot in Reserves side for weeks before his debut/injury and not looking good for Senior minutes anytime soon :-((

He's at the 20th best league in Europe, outside Celtic and Rangers who are Pot 2/3 level Europa League sides the rest of the competition is Lithuania/Kazakhstan league level.
He's not exactly at the most "gentle" competition, needs to take it easy with recovery.
Kid has talent, I would have preferred he ended up at a different competition though. Cutting it in the SPFL is not easy, hard grounds, intensity is decent, tackles are hard. Plus Celtic is not a shit side either.

+x+x+x+x+xWe've seen Arzani play both here in australia and on an international stage. He is an exceptional talent. You dont need youtube videos to see that. It may just be a case of he isnt the style of player that suits what Lennon wants to do or alternatively may still be short of a gallop following probably the worst injury a footballer can get. The most important thing is that he gets back playing football asap. In a comp where majority of passes are backwards and average age is 30+, a young player who wants to go forward will always generate excitement, but facts are in 25 senior appearances (1,275 minutes of play) he has scored 2 goals and has 3 assists. For NT is is 1 goal in a firendly against Hungary. Hardly world beating and Rogers said it when he arrived at Celtic (he has a long way to go) and obviously Lennon doesnt see the potential either, so perhaps the harsh reality is he aint that good. https://www.transfermarkt.com/daniel-arzani/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/399997 Rather than look at stats as a stand alone decider of a players value watch him play. His style of play and directness means he is pulling defenders and midfielders out of position constantly to cover after he goes past a man. What that does is open up space for other players to exploit. He may not always get the final pass for the assist but it is the work he does that creates the room to open space for final passes and as a result chances. If your intent is to suggest that he has work to do in developing a final ball or finishing then yes ill agree with you but to say he isnt good enough as it stands i think is little more than knocking a young player down for the sake of it As a forward there are 2 key stats you are judged on, goals and assists, ignoring them because it doesnt suit your narrative of him being a star doesnt change that fact. I have watched him play and there is potential but unlike many on here I have not got wrapped up in the hype because the end product is missing........ just like his last 2 managers In no way am i ignoring them. I clearly state that he has work to do on those exact things. There are clearly attributes he has at the present time that make him a standout player. Once he develops the composure in front of goal and adds the final ball, Things that predominantly come with experience he is going to be bordering on incredible Settle down son, he may become a good player in time, but there is no chance of him becoming incredible.
