Big one. If we can win this we'll be sitting very nicely. With some good fortune we'll hopefully be able to use the final 2 home games to test... Hrustic to rule this one.

They're a different team at home, but I'm quietly confindent we now have the weapons to unlock tight defences without leaving ourselves exposed on the counter.

Bloody Jordan in Jordan is tricky. Hrustic should start IMO. Hope Sainsbury is back by then- not sold on Degenek? Would drop Amini for O’Neill too.

Does Arzani and Rogic make the squad for this one? Be handy off the bench if still in the balance!! be great to have some games in hand to really blood and give these younger guys a chance!
iredale (striker) Arzani ikonomidis Hrustic (attackers rotating positions) mooy (central mid) antonis (defensive Mid) Smith (left back) leckie (right back) delbridge Deng (centre backs) Ryan (keeper)
thats my expweimental side... yes leckie is out of position but he would nail it at right back wish he played there for Berlin! Mooy and Ryan still in for leadership. the front 4 with those fullbacks would be deadly. delbridge and deng given a chance to take on sains and degenek. Remember it’s experimental!! Thoughts ???

Arzani won’t be selected by Arnold until he plays regular senior football :-( Don’t get me started about how much i HATE Celtic not even giving him 5 minutes game time - as if he’s not bloody brilliant enough!!! Iredale deserves chance. Riley McGree too.

Considering all we need to draw this game,I think GA will play tight and boring and wait for errors. There is nothing scary about Jordan if we play our best.

Been exposed on the counter last few times to Jordan. If we don't over commit in attack and pressure high to stop counters I think they should come away with a win. Really comes down to Arnold picking the right personnel and style for the game.

Agree with the calls for Hrustic to start. Want to see him play the full 90 too. Kid is a gun.

Definitely time for Rogic to at least make the squad. Amini can sit out. I feel some height and strength up front is important. Giannou to start for me.

+xWonder how many more goals NZ would lose to Jordan by then?!! TBH NZ would smash them 3-0, With the firepower the Socceroos have they should be beating Jordan 6 nil but history says Jordan win this easy. The return leg of course would be a different game.

If we can win this away game at Jordan, then we're cruising after that with a string of home games again mostly minnows. Once passage to the next round is secured, Arnold can do more experimentation with those games before the tougher next round.

Agree with those calling for Hrustic to start. And Rogic will be back in squad, he just played 90mins - I doubt he’ll start the match though. Given our recent history against Jordan, I’d be happy enough with a draw.

TBH NZ did incredibly well to qualify for 2010 WCUP with only 4 million people in country. Not even number 1 sport is it? Rugby and cricket take away from soccer potential :-(

Oh can we please beat these guys. I realise the game is pretty meaningless as we are going through regardless but at some stage we need to draw a line in the sand and say we aren't losing to these teams that we are so much better than regardless of where it is played.

Al Nashami has been training daily, morning and evening, since October 20, in preparation for the meeting with Australia in the fifth round of Group B of the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and the Asian 2023 in China.
It is expected that the team tomorrow morning on Tuesday, 5 November, exercise at the fitness center of the Union, before conducting at 5:30 pm training at the court of Khirbet Al-Souk, in the presence of the media.
On the other hand, the arrival of the Australian team will arrive in Amman next Sunday, to begin training on Monday morning in preparation for the Group B summit.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

The previous games have little bearing. Jordan will lift and will go out all. We need our composure. An early goal would be great.

I'm very much looking forward to this match. Our first real 'challenge' and I think we'll learn a lot more about what is good and what needs to be worked on after this match.
Prediction: 1-0 or 2-1 win
