General Ashnak wrote:I always want us to do better than MV Ted, it burns when we lose to them... Been burnt a few times this season then GA! Our boys have set you a target for Sunday. Good Luck (and that isn't a piss take). You guys deserve the minor premiers. You have had a heavy schedule, done the A League proud in the ACL and been the best team in the domestic comp. I am just glad we have secured the right for a second chance.

Thank for the comments Blue
I cant imagine how I would feel if we ended up with nothing after all that hard work
ive got a question - can a team be = on goal difference as well as points
How do they decide if thats the case and can that happen after Sunday?

I love REDS very much but I still think we will finish 3rd and that is best we can do. I wish to be proven otherwise! To beat CCM 2:0 would be very hard as we have conceded 6 goals against them this season and got smashed 3:0 at Gosford earlier this year. I hope the rest of few days for the first time in many months would help us over the line. Good luck boys tomorrow and make South Australia proud

The nerves are all part of the love, eh? Being a fan sucks some days....but on others it's sweet. I'm backing the boys to prove Krijoz wrong and bring home the plate to Hindmarsh. The Melbourne result is actually not too bad for us. 1-0 would have been better but we can score and the Coasties have nothing to gain by winning. Of course they'll try for their fans and they are a good team, BUT, Adelaide is a better team and have so much to gain. Travis is due for a good match. Cristiano is due some game time. The other defenders have to prove that Sasa might be missed but isn't everything back there.
Roll on Sunday night and our second minor (stupid, stupid title) Premiership.
Of course we could lose and then win the Grand Final so we could all bite our nails for a few more weeks. ](*,)
I love this game.

You should be proud of them regardless of the result tomorrow, they have had a fantastic year. They have done the whole of the football community in Australia proud in the ACL. As much as this is hard to say being a victory fan, you guys have been the most consistent in the HAL since it started. Your season this year must be down to your assistant coach from Victory (Mr Stubbins), lol.

Do you think CCM would put an understrength side in order so rest some players as they have nothing to lose today?

Our first competitive match of this season started with an, against the odds, 2-0 away win over Pohang Steelers at the Pohang Steelyard. Would be fitting to finish a great season off with a 2-0 away win over Central Coast.
As much as you don't win games by whats nice or fitting, I think the team is up for this. We know whats on the line and we have nothing to loose. We are now third and nothing can make our finish worse than this. At the start of the year, I'm sure most teams would have liked to have the chance to only have to win 2-0 away to claim top spot in the final round.
Predictions: Adelaide 4 - 1 Central Coast

Well I'm gonna be watching the game at the Alma tonight so hopefully a good crowd turns up at all the pubs and clubs around Adelaide for the game!
Predictions: * Adelaide 3 - 1 Central Coast * Reds to score first two goals, Mariners open up 2nd half with a goal and Reds score late in the 2nd to claim premiership.
Bold predictions, but faith in the team is always good. :D

SUBS- Younis, Mullen, Salley, Nash GK - Galekovic RB - Mullen RCD - Cornthwaite LCD - Ognenovski LB - Jamieson MCD - Salley RW - Dodd CM - Reid LW - Cassio RS - Agostino LS - Younis subs - Cristiano, Sarkies, Alamao, Barbiero (cause who cares about a keeper sub ;)) start changing to the below from 60 minute mark: RB - Mullen RCD - Cornthwaite LCD - Ognenovski LB - Jamieson RW - Dodd CM - Reid CM - Sarkies LW - Cassio RS - Alamao LS - Crisitano Of course that would depend on score line and injuries. Would only play the above at Etihad, back at Hindmarsh it will be a different story.

That's 'cause you have nothing to fantasise about – unfortunately seeing as you are in the ACL…
