+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xShit crowd for a so-called brisbane team with the whole city to themselves, no matter how you dress it up. but yeah , "it looked good on the telly".... Way better than it would have looked and sounded at Suncorp Doesn't make it any less shit. So how much would you expect in a stadium with 10k capacity? Refer my post. Yeh you said 9,387 is a shit crowd but failed to mention it was played in a stadium with 10k capacity. So again, what was your expectation? Since you seem to be a little slow, my expectation is that the only team in brisbane should not be limiting themselves to a venue of that size. It's a joke. Not to even mention the location... More games at Gabba Change their name to Redcliffe Roar and move to Dolphin permanently. Otherwise its a complete joke. To be fair to Roar this is a Frank FFA initiative country or community round or whatever they called it no, roar have scheduled 3 games at dolphin this season...

If you're against clubs moving home games away from home for community rounds, or in Brisbane Roar's case for who knows what reason I'd agree with you. But your last post is that they should aim for a bigger stadium and aim for a bigger crowd, therefore tonight's crowd was shit. So overall if you knew the stadium was only 10k capacity, and the game was a sell out, then your post about 9k being crap was a shit comment in itself. No, 9k is crap for the reasons I said.

Because eg in Sweden teams have their home stadium. Then a back up stadium then a third stadium.
You have to play home games at no.1 unless you can’t. Which is mostly security.
I imagine its similiar under UEFA.

Eg Helsingborg play pretty much rent free and training ground rent free. I think it is common. Assyriska and Syrianska is owned by Södertälje council. Again they pay Sthlm rates.

Honestly Libel, just for laughs can you please note down what averages you expect from each club.

We moved stadium and had the option to be gifted land by Sthlm City if we built a stadium. 2 reasons we didn’t - economy and the other is we are 49% owned by AEG, who run stadiums eg Suncorp and O2. He is also the MLS guy that owned most teams at same time. Now they own Galaxy and (I think) Kings and maybe Clippers. Anyway our biggest rival now plays at the stadium too. There was a stadium quality demand around 2014. Their stadium is an old Olympic stadium and heritage listed so can’t be changed to meet standard. Ironically our owner owns 12.5% of their ice hockey team.... But yeah the city owns it we “run” it but it’s not really us it’s a different part of their business. They have like 250 events per year. So it was built with AstroTurf. its a circus.

+xHonestly Libel, just for laughs can you please note down what averages you expect from each club. I'm seriously dying to know what your expectations are from each club. Nah, he'll never actually give you a number because that would mean that there's a chance that the league could potentially have a "good" crowd (by his own admitted standards). He'll just constantly shift the goalposts all over the place by making nonsensical comparisons instead. FFS Nomates was banned for much less than this, Libel is just an annoying karnt who no one will miss if he goes.

+xSo how many more did they get for the first big blue last season? Why don't you save your lame quips for when its actually a poor crowd. Fact is: a.) The game was rescheduled b.) 6:30 on a Sunday in Kogarah is pretty shit. c. ) Been on/off raining in Sydney all day. Give up mate, you're a fucking joke.

+x+x+x+xIn the near future, we will have 4 or 5 smallish clubs getting 5 to 6k every game. I don't see it as disaster. The inequality of the a-league could lead to its downfall. If small clubs can't win championships you will see crowds, viewership, subscriptions sponsorships dry up. It will become a boring league Explain why MV fans will stop going to the game just because CCM cant win the title My argument is other teams fan bases (especially smaller teams) won't grow if there is no hope of winning a title. You do realise that the HAL has the salary cap to make sure the competition is even.

Libel is a product of the HAL franchise football system where metrics are all that matters. There are a lot of posters quick to stick the boots into the NSL and NPL crowds when HAL was flying but now shoe is on the other foot it’s funny to watch the backpedaling. As Waz noted, smaller stadium with smaller crowd is actually better for BR financially, imagine they owned their stadium. Maybe those NSL guys (and pretty much every football team in the world) knew more than what many gave them credit for.
