+x+xCity would have lost fans to WUFC. To be fair, MCFC dont need fans like some clubs do and with the season they are having they will convert casuals to life long fans. I agree, MC not having much support is a non-issue. They will remain as long as the City Group wants them there. Their concern is NOT attendances or TV ratings. Surely THIS is their biggest issue. When will the sheik tore of his plastic toy ? and even if you consider this question, how on earth are people meant to be excited by this club?

+xMVC v Glory - 15k Roar v CCM - 10k Jets v WSW - 9k WU v SFC - 5k AUFC v Nix - 10k wow could be our highest attended round? you always do overs with your predictions. MVFC v PG - 15,500 BR v CCM - 8,500 NJ v WSW - 8,500 WU v SFC - 5,500 AU v Nix - 7,500 +xCity would have lost fans to WUFC.
starting to wonder of Victory has as well. +xI agree, MC not having much support is a non-issue. They will remain as long as the City Group wants them there. Their concern is NOT attendances or TV ratings. But what about ticket prices? charging $55 in the Victory end at the derby is appalling. +xSurely THIS is their biggest issue.
When will the sheik tore of his plastic toy ?
yep. I have this gut feeling the CFG are not in this for the long haul. hope i'm wrong.

If we can push up to around an aggregate of 47,500 for the round, that's ok.

+xadelaide are flying, they have the second best player in the comp and won the ffa cup they should be getting 10k i hope you're right. But Adelaide's crowd and membership numbers have been very disappointing in recent years. they only got 12,000 against us last week in a game that always used to sell out.

+xW-League: Roar v WSW 2,531 + the twenty cheapskates stood on the car park roof ... @Waz Were you 1 on top of 2530? Why was it a bigger crowd than last Thursday night's game at Dolphin (2139)?

Victory has drawn 14,700 less spectators to their first 5 home games this season than last season.

+xIs thatvthecworst Vuck crowd in the last 6 years? The worst in 7 years, since the Round 24 dead rubber against Phoenix in the 2011-12 season at the end of the Magilton era.

Pretty shit weather, but no excuses that was a piss-poor crowd. Playing atrociously will do that though.
That being said, atmosphere was still pretty good. Goes to show what playing in appropriately sized stadium will do.

+xPretty shit weather, but no excuses that was a piss-poor crowd. Playing atrociously will do that though. We did come close to that attendance on two occasions in the tail end of the 2017-18 season, so it could be linked to performance and satisfaction with the coach. +xThat being said, atmosphere was still pretty good. Goes to show what playing in appropriately sized stadium will do. Really good. To get a North-East-South-West side chant up in those conditions was impressive.

Exactly. We even dipped down into four figures when Frank was in charge. I remember the day, 8k we got against Gold Coast once when Lowy was really cracking down on fans. Glad you're coming around to see what a blight he was.

It's fair to say the old regime presided over both the highest and lowest A-League attendance averages.
