Can't help but feel the centre left are making stupid mistakes all over Anglo world, using highly disliked candidates like Hillary, Corbyn, and Shorten. I think this will backfire on the Democrats too.

+x+x+xThe conundrum for the Dems is thus: - Do nothing in opposition (aka political irrelevancy) in the hope that Trump will cock it up himself, or - Try and find some problem anywhere involving Trump to keep themselves politically relevant and in the media spotlight (aka this impeachment) The 5D chess of Trump is that any attempt to belittle him will only make him stronger given his television persona and reputation among idiots. He has positioned himself as their champion and avatar despite having no material or financial interest in their lives beyond his own personal and political gain. I have never seen anyone play the real-life role of Palpatine so well. . His entire performance will be judged on the premise of him actually bettering the lives of Americans in the rust belts of America where he derives his support from. if he has created jobs and reduced unemployment and so on, then he gets a big tick. he has created jobs in these areas and things are better today than the day he assumed office from the Democrats so that's runs on the board. But those jobs are one trade deal away from evaporating (again) lol. -PB How?

What's even worse for them is they don't even realize they are making these mistakes because they live in the Twitter Bubble or inner suburbs of big cities and do not understand or acknowledge the real worker on the fringes and those in regional areas. They are just playing buzzword politics and have lost touch with real people. Long may it continue...

That isn't a buzzword. the real people are those who actually work for a living and pay tax, not the inner city elites who don't have to work and so on. It's not those looney's who glue themselves on the road either.

He is currently negotiating a trade deal with China. That's because his tariffs were bringing the Chinese economy down. But i dout Trump will do it at the expense of jobs in America.

This is why is absolutely vital Bernie wins the Democratic primary imo.

+x+x+x+x+xIt'll die in the senate and the Dems will look stupid and Trump's base will be riled up. Doesn't matter he is the third sitting president to be impeached which is in the records . I actually had to look up who the others were. Forgot Clinton was impeached. Which just goes to show it won't really affect Trump's 'legacy'. It should but it won't. It didnt effect Clinton either. That's because Clinton's impeachment was BS. +x+xIt'll die in the senate and the Dems will look stupid and Trump's base will be riled up. Yeah I don't think it will affect Trump because the dems have literally picked the worst thing to impeach him on. If they chose to impeach him on emoluments clause violations or helping Saudi Arabia commit a genocide in Yemen without the approval of congress and was likely complicit in war crimes, then it would hurt him severely imo. That is Florida 29, North Carolina 15 and the ones where Bernie would struggle big time Pennsylvania 20, Wisconsin 10, Michigan 16, Minnesota 10 & Ohio 18. TBH the most likely paring to win against Trump are two of the current also-rans. A ticket of Amy Klobuchar and Cory Booker is probably their best chance. Klobuchar being the more conservative (Joe Biden) type that has delivered in the mid-west and Booker that will appeal to the more progressive parts of the party elsewhere in the country.

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xCan't help but feel the centre left are making stupid mistakes all over Anglo world, using highly disliked candidates like Hillary, Corbyn, and Shorten. I think this will backfire on the Democrats too. Just one of the mistakes the centre (Establishment) left have made over the last few years. This is why is absolutely vital Bernie wins the Democratic primary imo. LOL! Is that your best hope? lol He is by far and away the best politician in America. Everyone knows what's he's for and knows that he isn't corrupt like nearly every other politician in the US. His policy positions are overwhelmingly popular as well. (There are a few other uncorrupted progressives tbf but none are running for president.) LOL! Oh boy, trump must be rubbing his hands... Actually it's the opposite. https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-2020-president-privately-tells-confidants-that-socialism-wont-be-so-easy-to-beat LOL Yep, it sold well in Australia and the UK and will sell just the same in USA. LOL Convenient the countries that all have Murdoch dominated mediascapes lol -PB LOL Blame the media despite most state run media being leftie.
