Ok, I received a members pack in the mail today but the letter with it said it was because I attended games last year and wanted me to activate it. Even though I've already bought a memership online, I'm guessing I'm gonna have to ring them up and try to get them to transfer it onto the membership I received today. The only problem is the one I bought online was for the Supporters Bay and I think this one is only for GA, which means I'll probably need another card :evil:

I called the membership hotline regarding my re-allocated seats today and the guy on the other end said I should receive it by Wednesday next week since they are sending them out next Monday.

Is the game vs NQF going to be anywhere online? I recall the NQF site would have updates posted during games last season...

The Fury website will probably have the updates again, but I'll be checking out the AdelaideReds twitter feed. They're usually up to date with the scores and stuff.

Well renewed mine and dad's membership today - also getting the away membership for my cousin for his birthday next week....he playes cricket on the weekends (turning 15 and one district team wants him to play seniors for them!) so he cant come all the time so this is the best option.

Well I am not going to be doing much updating on the fan page, Ryan is doing a good job now on the official page and is open to feedback.

Oh, just remembered I will be out tonight anyway - will have to wait til I get home to see how we did: RU I am relying on you (and the AdelaidReds twitter :D )

So as an AUFC fan living in Melbourne what are the benefits of getting a non-ticketed membership? I've been tossing up whether to wait until I have a job next year or just get one now - $60 ain't much.

you get everything a member gets (discounts, newsletters, invites to members only stuf etc.) but the ticket

there is also the friday shout where you get 4 free tickets for 1 game of your choice...call the club to see if u can use that for a melb/heart game in melbourne

Fury are going to be at the bottom of the heap = DOES NOT LOOK GOOD.

Still, maybe I'm concered over nothing perhaps we will beat Perth, Sydney, Victory, Gold Coast, Phoenix, Heart - all of whom seem to have sharper looking squads AND marquees

Friday Night Shout tickets are only for TICKETED memberships, and they're only available for home games, i.e. Hindmarsh and Adelaide Oval.

Give Coolen some time. Either he'll adapt the team, or he'll adapt to the team - either way, it's a win-win situation. I may be harking on, but I've been happy with what I've seen of the pre-season.

1-0 doesn't sound too pleasing really. Can't really read too much into it as I'm not sure how well we played, but we're definitely gonna have to improve on the final results.

Well didn't really expect to get free tickets in Melbourne. I agree with the sentiment in giving some time to Rini and the Reds. Got a couple of issues, but we have 30 games to make good. Hopefully it comes together sooner rather than later.

I'm worried about how quiet the media has been in approach to this new season...

Okay, so I just received my re-allocated season ticket today in the mail. Seems they were quite prompt and to their promise.

I'm happy with my new seat too. :D

Current PAX on my ticket is 7000. That means that 7000 tickets have been issued, but doesn't take into account non-paid tickets and re-issued tickets. Even if we take away 2000 odd from that number, we are looking still at about 5000 members this year. Good effort, I say.

Really? I think it's been pretty good.

Plenty of coverage in the paper, Rini appearing 2 or 3 nights a week on Channel 7,9 & 10, commercials on the radio.

A television commercial would be handy though.

I guess there's my problem - I don't watch TV as much as I used to. :p What I want to see are more of those billboards we had up for last season, and for the ACL. These ones:
