So good to see ruka playing so well. Always knew he was a better striker than winger. We dont give him enough credit for his finishing which is lethal. maybe even better than taggart's. certainly better than Mclarens and easily better than giannou's

Now that we have switched to a 3-5-2 formation, if I'm honest I cannae see Arzani get many, if any minutes now. The only time I can see him picking up some minutes will be the matches where we switch back to the 4-2-3-1 formation.

criminal that in form players like holland and ruka are constantly overlooked.  Ruka never has been given a proper extended run in the team and whenever he did was played in the wrong formation. holland the best perfroming midfielder bar mooy for a while now but doesnt get given a go people will say they didnt perform when they got their chance but they never got a proper go at it.  these 2 should surely be called up with sainsbury playing in israel and getting selected there is no excuse for ruka being omitted with his form and same goes for holland considering jeggo is constantly selected whilst only coming off the bench in the same league

What you say makes perfect sense. Arnold needs to be careful because we can't have a repeat where Ange picked Kruse and Smith and I think it made the squad disgruntled in a way. Other factors surely contributed to those rocky days under Ange.

At the same time these two are from the rotten Holger era where it was absolutely atrocious. These guys didn't deliver with that opportunity. Perhaps Arnold wants to make a cut from that era and has no intention of calling them up.

If we preserved with ageing players based on reputation rather than current merit before then these two would warrant selection on merit alone.

One other point. Perhaps both of them are completely at home in their club system of play whereas Arnold may have already seen they don't fit what he's trying to do. Everyone is adaptable though right? Holland stated in a fox sports football podcast around 6 months ago that there'd been no contact from Arnold. Rukavytsya on the other hand was most recently in the Syria squads and even played. 

These two have proved me wrong with their performances this season and there's nearly no one I'd be angry about seeing in a gold shirt these days. We've got a top bunch of players.

Apparently Arzani playing in closed door game for Celtic developmental squad. Link mentions that Celtic are not part of the reserves league this year, so a lot of these players not in first team struggling to get minutes. He has to move on at the end of the season.
