Renew yours or public?
I thought it went on sale to the public on the 15th and the renewal period was the 5th and the time between was when they worked out existing member's seat changes
Haven't heard back about that either though i called up and the girl said its happening now and we'd know in the next coupla weeks. nah they are on sale to the public now. I am a first time member. the renewing membership drive finished a couple of weeks ago.

I only asked coz if they have opened it to the public early, or more likely just take who they can when they can, it lessens my chances of being able to change seats
I have bugger all chance anyways as I am with 3 others so to a find a new spot with 4 free seats would be a challenge and a half
Either way : welcome aboard mate, welcome to the family

I am still member #619, but I also have 4 other season tickets linked to mine now - 2 childrens, another adults and a concession card. Not a bad increase in regular attendees from me :D

good stuff to anyone who plays a part in convincing people to sign up as season ticket holders. I will have to ask if there can be an International membership too if im heading overseas I still would gladly be a non-ticketed member.
I'm looking forward in four weeks to the Gold Coast United match. Hopefully I can meet some of you forumers down there at hindmarsh.
not long to go now

Shall be trying to convince at least three of my mates to sign up this year and I'll advise them that I dont have FNS tickets this year. Let's hope they do take it up.

RU do you know if there will be FNS tix this year? I haven't seen any info on the website, but you seem to have your ear close to the ground. As for membership, I renewed my old spot but asked for a seat change. I thought Aug 15th was the cut off date for this and although I've heard nothing I'm not worried - Yet! Good to get Nick Mavoramatis and Michael Markham back in the team I support. Truth is though that the team is already in the finals and this last game is really of no real consequence to them - although it's always good to WIN. The boys that stepped up did an excellent job for their mates anyway.

As far as I know, FNS tickets have been dropped as it was costing the club quite a bit to offer it. It's a shame, but in the end, those who I took in previous years are definitely going to attend games again - so the job of the FNS tickets is done on my end.

Perhaps the "Ask a friend" membership drive or something along those lines. You just never know what that might achieve.

Pity for my younger mates who I gave the tix to last year. They're all EPL star struck and I had hoped that watching football live, would sway them, but they're not really 100% behind football, just the " stars " of Gerrard, Torres etc - basically tosspots rather than lovers of the game! Still different strokes for different folks.

It would be wonderful if our membership tally was already that high. However, the pessimist in me says that that cannot realistically be possible at this point. Who knows?

Feels good man. Season ticket holder. Memberships aren't out yet. We'll all need to get used to the new terminology.

me too I posted this on another thread somewhere from an email from AU Dear AUFC Season Ticket Holder, Due to the high number of season ticket holders wishing to change seats, we are experiencing a backlog in the allocation process. We are aware that sales are now open to the general public, but please rest assured that you will have first priority of the seats before the general public are allocated seats. We anticipate to complete this process this week, but if you have any queries, please feel free to call the Ticketek AUFC Season Ticket hotline on 1300 100 336. We apologise for the delay, and we appreciate your patience in this matter. Regards, Ticketek Season Ticket Team

Thank God. I'm struggling badly with withdrawal symptoms.
Wonder how many booths they'll have open at the gate because I absolutely f*****g loathe Ticketek and thought of giving them another commission on my ticket makes my blood boil.

Just get your tickets online, print them out, and away you go. Don't bother with lining up.

I think he's trying to avoid giving his booking fee to ticketek but they prob get it on gate sales anyways i just resent ticketek for the consistent cockups to members, and i know from phone calls that the AU people aren't particularly enamoured with them either from phone calls.

You saw a 6 year old/s key ring? May i call you hawk eye????? Nah but as red Eye Rob pointed out on another thread you DO see a good amount of the bumper stickers on car windshields these days. It always makes me smile and surreptitiously pump my fist when i see one aha. I actually still have 3 of my last 4 member's sticker. If i could just find the missing one id put one on each corner of the back windshield. though I still have a sticker and that crappy old mini silky member scarf they gave out years ago on the back dash. Good enough I say

Okay, so I got the phone call yesterday and called them back today from the ticket mob in Sydney, confirmed my Gold seat and the new Gold seat I added SWU4 Row F seats 91&92, very close to where I was last year, [SWU4 F95], but all the seats directly around my original seat renewed:) So I had to shuffle across a bit to get a pair of seats together[that's good news for those at home keeping score:)] I guess then that this week is the allocation phase. The lass indicated that the packs would be mailed out in 3-4 weeks. Plenty of time before the start of the new season one would hope.
