I'm all for the 1.5 playoff.... Now that its first past the post Only that I agree with its good implementing the additional play off....... It spices up the bottom of the ladder in PL1 and top end of PL2.

A fantastic draw against APIA and in the end probably should have won (hit the crossbar twice, once in stoppage time). APIA looked sluggish - premiership hangover?

Don't know how we lost that game, so many missed opportunities, one on ones, hit the cross bar a few times. Blacktown's GK MOM.

Yeah, not an ideal start, I think this shows out lack of depth, Warren taken off at 65th minute at 1-1 and everything fell apart. Powell looked a bit rusty and light need a couple weeks to find some form, a couple younger guys making their debut. Hopefully we can bounce back this week at home.

Some unsavoury rumours doing the rounds about Warren having the captaincy taken away from him. I won’t repeat them. But if even remotely true, can’t be good for the team dynamic, but it’s only rd1 and nrl teams prosper with far worse...

I thought we did ok in the first half, I really can’t pick how our match this weekend will go, on paper it could go either way, I think it will depend on who turns up between your Japanese imports and our “big” signings Powell/Simonovski/Groenbast.
the early kick off was to encourage more people to attend and increase crowds especially families. Hopefully the rain stays away and we can get a decent crowd in, you guys always bring a good contingent.

+x+xwell I only got the drift from you guys posting about it previous page. I haven't heard anyone mention of it at the games I've been around last couple of weeks. Like we said what great comminications by FNSW to all lol..... It hasn't been annouced as all 12 NPL1 clubs have voted against it and said they won't participate in any playoff. Talks ongoing. Any outcome regards this ?

5-0 win in a dominating display, i cant believe how far off the pace Mt Druitt is, look more like a rugby league team, not a football team.... my tip for the drop after witnessing that performance. We played well, this week took our chances, whereas last week against blacktown we didnt. NSM, the surprise packets at the moment. kudos

1-1 at home to Rockdale, considering our result the previous week this wasn’t a bad result however I think we did enough to possibly win it, either way an improvement and we definitely have something to build on. Our 4:30pm kick off time seemed to work well with a decent crowd. Good to have the season back.

+xThis streaming that Football NSW is doing is pretty good, had a lazy Sunday afternoon watching games in between doing house stuff. Same as me, Watched bits of the wollongong/NSM game and was impressed with north shore, Wollongong looked a bit flat. Mount Druitt were terrible against a solid United from the bits of the game I saw. Watched the full APIA/Olympic game and can see both these teams in the top 5, APIA scoring their second against the run of play perhaps however good to see Olympic stay winless.

I am worried about Rangers strike power up front, but they started slow last year and came good in the back end, plenty of time left. Two hard teams to start off, time will tell.

Lets all agree an interesting start, as it should be. 2 games played means nothing but kudos to the promoted NSM, I really didn't think they had it in them. Knocking off defending Wolves away is a top scalp. SO ? wasn't last or previous season Marconi spent a motza and had a fizzer season, we shall see.
