I will begrudgingly accept this compromise Rini Mullen can play RB, we all know that Dilevski and pancho or lev and Pancho doesn't bother me SO much I guess Not ideal but a good compromise

Tonight is full of dread for me - and I can't even be there. Bloody wish I could be. I just love being at Hindmarsh. My two boys will be there though. Not happy about having to buy tickets either. Still.... If we don't take this one I don't know where we'll be turning to. Not that GCU are bad, in fact they're not bad at all. But we need to be winning at home and more importantly, letting the team know what's going on. Mullen at RB for me. Wato on the bench with Dilevski (unless he plays in front of Mullen). Pancho to start. Please Rini, get it right tonight. If loyal fans turn up and pay for a game not included in the season ticket they will go home very down if we lose. Down and dark. Come on you REDS!!!!!

Sorry lads couldn't get on a computer in time to notify you, the 5AA Soccer Show with Dom Rinaldo & John Kosmina just finished, it's on each Sunday from 3pm til 4pm.
Wasn't a bad show today, Marcos Flores & Iain Ramsay were guests, a few callers, plenty of emails and texts, need to let everyone know it's on so the show can get more exposure.

This is going to sound terrible, but what is the frequency for 5AA?

Went to the Lady reds match Saturday, pretty good turnout at Burton Park (rougly 500 people)
The lady reds are definately playing a lot better this season, unfortunate not to draw that game against Brisbane with the lady roar winning 2-1.
You can definately see a 200% improvement in performance from last season.

General Ashnak wrote:Welcome to the magical world of photoshop ;) Fair enough, but you've got to have the basics to work with, for example no amount of photoshop could turn Jooliar Gillard or Magda Szubanski into that second pic. Lucasfilm's ILM perhaps, but that's beyond what is available to your average punter. For sure that second pic has had a bit of work, but most likely a lil bit of airbrush than full on photoshopping.

Mrs Lloyd Owusu was a stunner in person. When I was still sitting in the top tier at Hindmarsh, she'd always sit in the row in front of me during Owusu's NYL games. Never got conversational with her though... was scared of ol' Lloydy getting the wrong impression. :p

We be famous. In addition to the Oz version of 442, I regularly buy the airfreight edition of the original 442 mag to keep up to date with what's going on in Pomgolian football. On page122-123 of issue 210 Dec2011, there is a spread about chants, the subheading is Some British terrace chants are legendary, from Charlie George's bra to Jason Lee's pineapple. But what about mental sing-songs from Arbroad? FFT picks the bestOf course AUFC gets a mention. I'll transcribe the text. Unfortunately we are credited as Adelaide FC instead of Adelaide United FC (Maybe Kevin could have a word internally to ask them to acknowledge the error and print our correct name in the future? Oz Barrrel botherers: "If you come down to Adelaide/You'd better not come alone/If you come down to Adelaide/You might not make it home"sing the Adelaide FC(sic) loyalists to the tune of Teddy Bear's picnic - in threatening but ultimately rhythmic style. But the second part is less palatable"We told you once/we told you twice/South Australia's not very nice/We'll chop you up and put you in a barrel"This alas refers to a vile multiple homicide - the Snowtown murders - in which 12 people were murdered and dissolved in acid. No need, really. Picture below, we are next to the pen: Edited by vanbasten88: 17/11/2011 09:41:35 PMEdited by vanbasten88: 17/11/2011 09:42:14 PM

It is one of our chants, can confirm 100%. But I was also under the impression we picked it up off of the PG boys...

Usually finishes as liverpoolfan2010 suggests or We all come from Snowtown Oh we all come from Snowtown! Most often heard against the tards of course or even the Jam Tards, but has been heard against most teams who come to hindmarsh. Our other big theme sin-song is probably "My Adelaide is rolling along", but that wouldn't have fit into their article I guess. NBD.
