Lewis and JMK need to improve their passing.
But a much better effort, if we score the next try we should win.
Dragons not that dangerous.

A win is a win.
Still lots to work on, particularly in attack.
Defense seemed ok, but I'm not sure that the Dragons really tested us.
When Averillo gets fitter put Wakeham on the bench, we also need more punch in the forwards.
Smith might be suspended, he has the odd brain snap.
So if Harper is still here he may get a game.

#AttackingPlaysMatter lives on.... Finally.... official coach Pay listened to the unofficial coach HD and made the right changes with Hoppa brilliant at the back, the carries by DWZ & his offloads helped massively.
The 12th Immortal Elliott was fantastic as was RFM & Renouf.
Britt’s got to go unfortunately.... he was the only negative along with Lewis’s passing game.

I think unfortunately Wakeham plays on the right like Foran... otherwise I would consider him to replace Lewis, apart from a bad sequence of dud passes Lewis wasn't that bad. If we get desperate, I think Foran can play both sides.. Odgen could come in for Britt, the Roosters are going to be hard to beat, so let's enjoy this win... #AttackingPlaysMatter

Well......I told you all so.
Was driving back from mid coast so couldnt see most of game but heard it on radio and caught some highlights. It looked like they followed my suggestions and ran in numbers. Good to see.

I was expecting alot more posts from you lot during the game but went through them in 2 minutes.
Probably wasnt the best quality game and Dragons were atrocious but at least it sounded like we were making metres rather than our usual 1 out crap. The highlights seem to support this. None more evident than Elliotts try with Napa running alongside him who actually created the space by a hesitant defence.
Footy isnt difficult. You just have to get afew basics right.
Polish is another issue altogether and something unfortunately we don't have and may never have with many of these players but if we make yards and can play at other end of field, we at least stay competitive.

Big improvement on running in numbers, line speed and decision making in defence. Attack Foran really struggling for match fitness, some of our players need to get better at passing.. Around 33% of our sets attacking their line were good... that is a big improvement on the previous 0.05%, but more to do.

Our next lesson is to become more fluent which needs all our guys matchfit, in their right positions and playing in sync. Once we've mastered those 2, we can start having a look at forcing momentum changes in games which is the hardest thing to do in footy, but 1 step at a time. There's every chance we get flogged by the Roosters next week and we are back at square one. I'm just hoping we can keep attacking in numbers and making sure it becomes second nature.

Smith will cop the 1wk for that stupid knee to the head.
I guess Dman’s mate blue eyes will secure the centre spot, so that’ll mean Wakeham nails that bench spot.
Big ask vs the Rorters, but we should be at least competitive for 30mins hopefully before Teddy, Manu go crazy

Against the Roosters we have to aim to make them work hard for a win....
If we are very lucky, they may get lazy or impatient, or just have a bad day...
if we are unlucky, they may blow us away early and cruse to a win..

OR hd, the ref will six again rule against us until we are gassed and the rorters will cruise to an easy victory. New rules or not, the bloke with the whistle can still control games.

Not sure if he will be fit enough to play although the game being on Sunday might just give him enough time to recoup.

That ice pack was covering up a large hickey Dman left on young Holland to celebrate his 1st grade return.... Dman assures me he’ll be fine

Harper in for Holland, I'm an optimist but I can't see Smith beating the rap, I think Smith has been named just so this game counts as his suspension or Dman is acting as his brief and will put up some photos of the judiciary team which sway the result. This is a chance for Harper to press his claims for an NRL spot..

This is bizarre:- https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/wests-tigers-bombshell-maguire-drops-marshall-after-titans-shocker-20200609-p550vh.htmlBenji has been pretty good most times I've seen him play in recent years.. Grub will provide more energy, but if you want consistency, I don't think Grub is the man..

The Tigers were 2mins away from winning the game.... seems harsh to drop Marshall after one average game, when previously he was their best in the opening rounds.
I’m surprised to still see Britt in our 17 TBH... he was worse yesterday than what he was against Manly.
So Holland is definitely out with a Hickey (rib) complaint, while Smith is suspended.... I can’t see Crichton getting a start, surely Pay gives Harper a go in the centre’s.
I hope the 12th Immortal Elliott belts JWH... just once in the game & I’ll be a happy man!

I don't know why all the commentators say "backwards out of the hands" when talking about a forward pass. I thought the rule says relative to the passer and doesn't mention the hands.

+xI don't know why all the commentators say "backwards out of the hands" when talking about a forward pass. I thought the rule says relative to the passer and doesn't mention the hands. It's like if a player drops a catch in front of them... If the ball trajectory is backwards from the hand contact, but ball lands in front of their feet, is it a knock-on or knock-back? Is the position of the player deemed where his feet are planted on the ground or where the ball last makes contact?
