The right wanted the state to open and he stood firm and was called out for it. When he relaxed the rules people thought they can go about the same way and it got worse and th3 right criticise him for relaxing the rules. Im sick of the sniping . Instead of helping they want to play partisan politics Talk about standing behind your man, no matter what....... Fact is no matter right/middle/left/up/down the country needed/s to "move" ahead after all the good work done by ALL incl us citizens. Any good Andrews had done is past/blown away/forgotten due to the dominos that have fallen the last number of weeks. Relaxing the restrictions didn't mean life is back to normal, obviously not in your case, the protests proved what was to come. Its your own general citizens you should be going after and your Gov's handling/delgating who managed the seco approval to save costs, its obvious that company didn't get a strict brief in behaviour/rules/regs etcetc And the mixed msgs for quite sometime. Stop the excuse's - its a cluster fuck, as for the sniping/banter etc, if the shoe was on the other foot we all know what would be posted in vengence towards other States especially NSW. +x+x+xYes, it’s Andrews fault that the security guards and those under quarantine were horny. No its his fault that he appointed unprofessional, untrained security guards who were horny and incapable of doing the job, rather than trained professional military that was offered and every other State and Territory undertook. He chose to look after his mates in the unions rather than keep Victorians safe and in doing has undone the progress we made to contain and control Covid. When you have massive cluster fuck like this happen and the principal cause can be traced to bad decision making then of course those who are responsible for those bad decisions need to be held to account and resign. If Andrews were a Liberal you would be baying for blood and demand he go on trial for war crimes. If Andrews was a liberal you wouldn't have posted anything about this at all. I don't remember you saying anything like this following the Ruby princess. Of course the person or people who authorised the Ruby Princess to disembark should be held to account and fired. As for Andrews it was HIS decision to defy the federal governments recommendation and assign the responsibility to his employment minister, as if this pandemic that has brought the world to its knees is some job creation opportunity for his union buddies. Blood on his hands.

No denying other states had protests, Thankfully I think the Prems made far bigger issue of the fact and made it far more clearer its a NO GO but at least not much transpired after them but who knows but its the msg that counts. Bringing up BLM is just 1 domino not the core blame of the spikes as you quote. Ruby, no one here defended our Gov it was sheer utter incompetence at a very critical time (hope those who allowed passengers off are held accountable and their superiors, sickenning) - infact we gave them utter crap over it no one is hiding or forgetting about it but thems were early days no excuse's, not months after lockdowns etc as has occured the last 3wks in Melb. Citizens AND more so assigned companies/authorities that just is not acceptable just as the Ruby debacle. Oh here's re the Jetstar flight  Those passengers 48 passengers alone who took it upon themselves to walk should be fined ! They would have known a re check was being undertaken. At least they can/could be tracked down as stated.

I acknowledged that it was DT when I posted it originally, I am sure you read that. They were playing to their audience, this is the sad fact. DT didn't invent the sublimely witty "Mexican" nickname. Don’t be offended. You can call us “American” which might be worse :) Why is "Mexican" considered a derogatory term? Doesn't that suggest there is something wrong with Mexicans? I totally get that the DT front page was in poor taste having a dig at this time but I'd rather be called a Mexican than a cockroach no?
