+xLaurie Daley 2ky sports breakfast another parasite 1) he urges nick cotric 2 keep away from the bulldogs due 2 all the in club fighting & be loyal & stay in canberra 2) Laurie Daley is also urging Trent barrett not 2 go to the bulldogs or his career will spiral down hill that’s his exact words Daley should stick to what he is good at ...... Hmmmmm ...... what is he good at doing? Looking more and more like Cotric is in the bag, and Fifita is going to the Gold Coast .. money talks.. Old footballers also talk, but the players ignore them and listen to money...

Don't pay too much heed to what Kent says...he loathes the Dogs as much as any Dogs' fan with sense loathes him. Suggestions That Tom and Jake Turbo may have left Manly are right off mark. It is a fill in...put other names in it...story stays the same

It is a fill in...put other names in it...story stays the same The Turbo's like playing for Barrett, they may even prefer Barrett to Des, but even if we had Barrett as our coach, we would have been a long shot. Thinking it over we can sign good players to fix most of our problems, this season has been a train-wreck where very little has gone right.. the signing of Thompson is the only major plus so far.

In this case the players did the wrong thing, and the club made a stand, the NRL scrubbed the players, the back-flipped, it is a tricky situation for the club particularly Okunbor.. The media reporting is the fairly-tale the manager invented, because the player got a better offer, like it always is... We don't have to pay his salary, and we are in no rush, in club that wants, him has to swap players to free up cap... So he either plays for us or waits for a deal to be done, if there is a deal, every party will want it over quickly.. If a so-called power broker has anything to say, then be a man and say it in public... again the so-called power brokers are probably hot dog sellers with delusions of grandeur.

I can't believe most of our fans seem to believe everything they read in the media, start by believing nothing, that way you are closer to the truth.

+xHD is your position that you don't think there's any split on the Board? My position is, empty vessels make the most noise... Any one with the numbers gets things done, anyone without the numbers with guts and integrity resigns and speaks up up public.. So given no one has the guts to come forward in public and identify themselves, we don't know if they are on the board... But Hill made an official statement... Speaking to Nine’s Danny Weidler, Hill dismissed claims of dissent and rocky behind the scenes infighting at ‘the family club’. “Absolutely not,” Hill said emphatically. Some any if so-called power brokers are fighting, it is apparently news to Hill.

What did you expect him to say? - "Absolutely." You got a lot of wishful thinking there about how someone should conduct themselves on a board, but they don't. and they're still on the board. And no, those in charge are NOT doing the talking - in the face of denying everything levelled against them they're not saying a thing at a critical time to attract a major sponsor, coach and players. Hill said something, barely, that means nothing - and he's an employee.

Anderson also said something here:- https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/these-decisions-are-always-tough-canterbury-and-pay-officially-part-company-20200714-p55bsh.htmlI'm not sure you what more you want, Hill has denied things... Anyone supposed plotter camp has not said anything publicly or identified themselves.. it will not be the the first time a media story or set of rumours was a total fabrication... or from a irrelevant source with no real influence. No murder without a body ... If the aggrieved party are unable to talk, I'm happy to take a complaint in mime.... If they are on the board and are too gutless to talk in public, that tells me all I need to know. I don't care either way, I'll happy cancel my membership and walk away if the club is totally dysfunctional, I've got other interests.. but I'm waiting for a body, or at least a good mime act. So I'm saying their are cowards, or they don't exist.... and the proper place to settle issues is behind closed doors.. accept the majority decision or resign... if that is completely unfamiliar territory to them it is called INTEGRITY

What did she say there in regards to the current topic? She was just talking about Deano with a bit of jab at the Des fiasco. And I don't want anything really, I got no horse in this race - though it would be nice if one would win it. I'm just observing that the board is hopelessly divided with no end in sight. I certainly don't want the Dib crew back, but I got little faith in the current lot either. That's just the way I see it. Denial don't work for me.

I'm not seeing any official report that there is a race.. Hill already said there was no issue, probably at the same press conference. Like I say people on a board who don't accept the majority decision usually resign... IMO no resignation .. no evidence.. it is just media speculation... Show me a stat dec or a public statement from a board member that says otherwise... I'm hoping their is no infighting or if there is, those in charge win a crushing victory, because they are the only ones I want in charge no question... I don't think I am a minority of one, I think any fan with commonsense would abandon the club if the current management team is rolled.. Others might not agree but IMO the problem with the club for the last 20-30 years has been political in fighting... I'm over it...

You want a stat dec? Just a public statement will do...can be verbal or written,... if written they should sign it.

+xAnyway what are they supposed to be whinging about? Well I got no inside knowledge so I can only tell you what I think and then there's what's been said. What I think, is the obvious one - the board's split on the way the club's run and/or the direction it's going. It's obvious because otherwise there wouldn't be a split would there. What's been said revolves around who else but Ando of course. You don't have to know him closely or at all to know he's a fairly abrasive character. And from the time he got on the board there's been those who accuse him of over-stepping his responsibilty's - specifically sticking his nose in football dept business. And you might have heard of some yourself - him doing recruitment stuff (on his own) alledgedly sticking his nose into team selections etc among other football dept things. You could say that all of that, though maybe outside the ballpark, was acceptable when he was on the board. An experienced hand helping out and all that. But he hasn't been on the board for a while now, and has no official position with The Dogs, yet the allegation is that he's still doing all the same stuff as before. Hand in hand with that, so the allegation goes, is that The Andersons (both) see themselves as the rightful and natural heirs to Bullfrog and are running the place like a monarchy with them King and Queen. Now I don't know if any of this is true, I'm not inside the tent. But I can tell you those allegations are coming from inside the tent.

IMO Hill is a good operator will keep the sheep in the right paddock as far as possible. Ando being a pest is sort of believable, but I doubt he is doing much damage. I still say for the sake of stability live with it until the next board election, then make the case in the club meeting behind closed doors... not via a whisper campaign in the media.. Signature on a player contract is the CEO, I assume as directed by a majority board decision.... so I don't think the Andersons have the votes on the broad to run the place like a Monarchy.. Team selection is the coach or should be ... DWZ at fullback looked like Pay's pick to me... so I think Pay probably got the team he wanted most weeks ... and we know how that turned out.. For what is is worth Bullfrog had a lot of power, that is why the club ran so well.. and yes he often did things first and asked for permission later. There is a time and place to sort things out professionally, if we want to be professional

I do not understand CHN's comment on not wanting to ever wear the blue and white jersey again. Ok, he was upset that the club never stood behind him or OK when the then NRLol (TTT) wielded the axe and de-registered them, but what did they expect. They broke the clubs rules about bringing females back to their hotel rooms, surely they knew they were risking the clubs integrity by doing so. (We really needed another Coffs Harbour) As it was the news did escape and we were headlines (for all the wrong reasons again), we lost our major sponsor and our season was severely disrupted even before the first ball was kicked off. By the time we had reached the covid break most fans knew we were in trouble. So if he is that self centred then fvck him, let him wreak havoc at some other club. And as far as the de-registration take it out on that idiot Greenberg and V'Landys not the Bulldogs.

So CHN is upset no one at the Dogs called or checked up on him....
Did CHN bother to call the club offering to do anything he could whilst deregistered to help the club get a sponsor after both JO & himself screwed the club over a number of sponsorship opportunities & countless memberships?
No doubt a friendly call should have been made to both players by the CEO or GM Pricey to show they’re all good etc, but CHN has no doubt been tapped on the shoulder from his manager that other clubs want him & he wants out..... Surely our club will have the balls to play hardball & make sure they get something out of CHN departure.... player swap for a position we so desperately need strengthening ASAP

The Anderson sticking his nose into things rumours started weeks of not days into the boards tenure...
Months before the media chose to run with it as a story as they were getting all out of Elliots swinging schlong as they could...
Funnily enough all those rumours were started easily identifiable Dibbies... Even funnier predicted pre election by those same people...
Pay may have been inclined to ask Opes for assistance in some matters, why wouldn’t ya???...
Remember a Board disagreeing on stuff is normal... If there is a massive split I find I difficult to believe the media won’t identify the factions...
If it’s leagues club types causing the problems they deserve the same treatment as their ex footy club board mates...

I don't doubt Opes can be a pain ... but equally he has a lot of footy experience and knowledge... This is a minor problem that doesn't require whinging to the media. Let's not forget why we are in the mess the Dibbies appointed Des gave him unfettered power, watched juniors and player development get stuff up, reappointed Des, then sacked him shortly after. I am not wedded to the Andersons, but I would not trust the Dibbies to clean the toliets.

Anyone see NRL 360 tonight?
Finally someone with half a brain made a decent point about Pay especially after Kunty kept on bashing the Dogs
Read “The Dogs weren’t being called a reserve grade side late last year when they won 6 of their last 8 games”
Read “Pay’s won only 1 game from 9 this year with the same squad”
That shut Kunty up
