Not really happy with the odds I got this week on most games and especially the 8 game multi. Sportsbet don't pick up their game I'll give my money to somebody else.

That's the way to go.  A bit of fun.  I was taught early in life never to bet taking or giving points start on RL except for  1/2 point to break a draw.  How many times have you seen a team well in front slacken off and concede a couple of converted tries or vice versa.  Better with odds.

Home team with the start is a long term winner. Don't have to take them at the line if it is a smallish start.

Thought ZEF may have been at Coffs Races today taking trifectas.

Back in '94 (I think) when I was not quite 18, I managed to place a $1 each way bet on a horse called Bread and Butter. It was paying around $56 for the win when I placed the bet and by the time they jumped it was $93 or so and $10 for the place.

It jumps to the front and I thought it would be a pacesetter and get flogged around the final turn but to the surprise of me and my school mates it pulled away at the turn and hung on to win. 

You should have seen the wogs at the pub...they saw me riding it home and had to see my ticket for themselves before they congratulated me. Some were mumbling under their breath.

I had to get my sister to collect it!

Meanwhile it would appear people who have been in Melb In the past 14 seats are on a packed plane flying into Sydney from SA.... SA cops knocked on my hotel room door at 8.00 last night to ensure i was there...
