+xWhy can't we play in these abysmal conditions? This kind of weather suits us to a tee. Really.....? Can you imagine how much slower Tolman would be.... or how about Ninja Turtle back Montoya! There is no type of weather that suits us unfortunately

There is no type of weather that suits us unfortunately I'm serious. Wasnt our last win in similar conditions? It means the opposition cant throw the ball around and usually 3 tries wins it or its won on goal kicking. Parra only scored 2 tries today but won. These conditions suit our team who dont have much second phase play and have a low error rate. But its vital to have a good long kicking game so Lewis is a must

Our game has been based on low error / high completion rate with the plan to keep the opposition to a max of 0- 2 tries and us outscoring them. The minute they get a 3rd, we dont really have answers. This "risk in every opportunity" mentality needs to change towards an "opportunity in every risk". To do so we must rid ourselves of players who cannot play both (Tolman and a couple of others), and need to recruit players that provide the x-factor even if it comes with some errors. That's Barretts challenge. Being an ex playmaker tasked with creating opportunities at the risk of a fekk-up, I feel he is the right type of coach. Same as Kevin Moore. Ok that didn't work out for the longer term but Kevin Moore transformed the mentality of the team with relatively instant success. Theres no reason Barrett cant do it also

If Taas is fully recovered I think it would be good to give him a taste of NRL off the bench.
We might start the 21 season with the squad in good shape injury wise, as far as I know none of the current squad are in doubt for the start of 21, most will do a full off season.

+x0nly 7 more games left for the dogs for 2020 season AMEN westigers , warriers, raiders, titans, manly, souths , panthers & the only away game is canberra im sure that most of theses are @ anz Tigers we are a chance especially if Grant doesn't play. We know that the Warriors and Titians will not be easy games. Raiders and Panthers we need the opposition to have an off day or else we will be flogged. Manly we are a chance and I would love to beat Des. I think we need 2-3 wins to avoid the spoon, beating the Tigers will be a big step in the right direction. I am putting the Storm game down as a bad day at the office, they punished all of our mistakes, we made some good plays which amounted to little. The scoreboard did reflect the difference in class but most of all consistency. Our best plays were NRL standard, our worst plays would embarrass an under 8s side. I will not say that we will aviod the spoon, that is down to the players pride and professionalism. I will say that we can aviod the spoon, and good consistent performances from here should do it. The club and coach need to start settling standards underperforming players should be dropped regardless of salary and reputation. So some of them may have this week to redeem themselves.

It's possible to win against Tigers (our bunnies), Manly (tight games), Titans (equally shambolic) and Warriors (disinterest) The others have too much firepower that even if they are down on the day, they'll click into gear and beat us. But we must try to win at least 2 of the 4 above games.

Give a modicum of credit Fair call... but they were for 40 minutes.. Most games they lose last and this season are a result of awful completion rates... But that’s the case for most teams I guess... The rest are because Pearce don’t take shit by the scruff of neck...
I did enjoy the win...

If we lead that stat with the current roster, we are about an 8th-12th ranked team on the ladder. If we dont lead it, we are further below. It's why it's such a flawed gameplan. At best, you are still not a contender. Too many things have to go your way.

Side is named for this week.
I don't understand why Cogger and Holland are in the starting line up and why Wakeham and Renouf are not in the 17.
It seems like Georgie has wiped the slate clean and everyone is getting a chance...
At least Cogger can't go worse than his effort against Manly, but I would be all out for a win...
Wakeham may be questionable but if Renouf is fully fit, I don't understand why he isn't in the side,

The big problem is the bench. Gotta be the weakest ever seen. Smith is either in the run on or out. Ditto JMK. Tolman should be just out and Doorey or another youngster given a go. SG has not done his coaching future a favour. we are out this year why not a couple of young guys given a go?

Why are plodders like Montoya, Holland, Tolman etc getting a start over the guys that WILL be here next year as well as develop 1 or 2 of the pups in Topine, Doorey & give them some game time.
Terrible backline & bench named TBH.

Okay..... Okay.....
Supercoach is waiting for me to say it.... if TPJ is sacked by the Broncos, the Dogs should 1000% go after him!
Lose CHN, enter TPJ

SG not backing the youngsters is a disgrace at this time. Who give a rats if we run last now. Fvxk the plodders, lets see what the Development kids can do if they are able to be selected. That bench, WTF. Smith is either picked as a winger or gone. Tolman should be given the tap and f off. Replaced by Doorey.

NEVER There’s obviously issues with him and the coach/club.... it was a poor performance last week as it has been for Milford and many others for most of their season.
But his explosive game is what our forward pack has been craving for..... with the right environment & coaching, we could get the best out of him. 2yr deal with option for 3rd.
We don’t need anymore plodders or fekking nice guys.....!

+xfoxsports nrl saying tevita pangai jounor set 2 have his contract terminated ll i can say is come bazz sign him up There’s something about this story that is the funniest f***in’ thing. Two words - “bikie barbershop”. If we consider it’s not a front for something else, that it’s a legitimate business - just what exactly is a “bikie barbershop”? Is it a barbershop just for bikies, or a barbershop you go to for bikie haircuts?

TPJ might be a real jerk off the field, according to some social media posts. His footy also lacks a bit of mental discipline.
Perhaps a change of club will help.
All I'm saying is do our homework...
Very few good NRL fowards are choirboys but we want someone who is combative on the field and polite and friendly off it, not the reverse.
