Adam Keighran, Bulldogs junior, having a field day against Fwit Des's side. Scored a hatrick, setup another, nearly had a 4th and has looked strong.
Apparently off contract for next year. As is Danny Levi from Manly.

And definitely not better than a bloke you called a hack this week.. As for AK, it continues your tradition of waxing lyrical about blokes or teams who have performed against second and third rate opponents this year... On a side note, have you watched more games this week than than last two years combined as a result of my heckling???... ;)

As is Danny Levi from Manly. For a cheap option that wouldn’t cost the earth.... Patrick Herbert from the Warriors would be a good pick up especially with JO facing 9months out.
Nathaniel Roche has been given the flick too.... but like Jack Bird is consistently injured, but if we can’t prize either B Smith from the Storm, a 1yr deal surely on a reduced contract wouldn’t hurt.

Just about everyone I have put forward has been proven to be a good pick. Whether it be coaches to players to administrators. You'd be hard pressed trying to find a lemon in anyone I have picked. For your information, I lost my dad to cancer about 4 weeks ago and have been limited to watching Dogs games and only a handful of others of late. But I can assure you, I can watch a handful of games and can pick a player of the future or at the same time, can pick a dud. Unlike you.

Tom Starling has been my #1 pick for hooker all year. Last night, he would have made his harshest critics ear their words. I would seriously offer him a 3 year deal worth 1.5M coz he looks like he can change the way we play and if you read earlier posts from myself and Zef, you'll understand why.

T Baz probably has 1 or 2 spots left for a big $$ signing... the remainder would be filled with guys looking for an opportunity on peanuts.... hence why Herbert & Roche if fit would be good additions with option to extend their contracts

Hard to watch that game. Lucky the races were on and I couldn’t hear it. Plus drinking a thousand schooners helped forget the game.
We desperately need hard fast running props. More like Thompson. RFM looks good and certainly can have one edge. Elliot gets the other. Both need to increase their involvement and just run hard. Toomonga and Ogden need more leg speed and short stints off the bench. Neither are good enough to start yet. Napa needs to get back on the cocain and do at least a line before each game. Jackson just needs to do the hard work in the middle and run after Thompson’s quick play the balls.
Still, we would be much better with two more middles, just two huge bastards that just got out of or are going into Longbay. Training in the offseason needs to be huge priority, Thompson needs to push every forward, power and sprint work should be almost all they do.
Hopefully with a decent hooker, halfback, fullback combination. Burton, Staines, Smith that pack could look somewhat aggressive. Need some talent and it experience in the spine.
The backline takes care if itself. DWZ needs to play centre because he is clueless on the wing, and Reimis needs to play wing for the exact opposite reason. Cotric and Ok look like a potentially lethal combination. Still would be great to sign another centre.
I would not like to be in Toms shoes. But he is very professional and a great guy.

Zef posted a detailed chain of events afew months back regarding bowels or something that he went through. Whatever you guys and girls do, dont dismiss that bowel kit you get from government for 55's-75's. Even ask for one from your doctor if you have any concerns. Bowel cancer is a silent killer and by the time symptoms show up, its probably advanced stage cancer. The old man fought it hard for 18months but odds were stacked against him.

Yesterday was yet another example of our entire team tackling the opposition & in most cases failing to stop them in their tracks or even put them to ground.... where has all our mongrel gone?

Our top try scorer this year was RFM/Newsreader with 6 each T Baz should look no further than finding a couple of decent gems for our backline.
No matter how bad the dragons were all year.... Dufty, Lomax & Ravalawa each scored over a dozen tries each. Their halves copped a hammering for being so useless.... so how did their back 3 score so many tries?

+x+xHard to watch that game.
Well certainly Jack Hetherington fits the bill.... the guy is full of aggression, but doesn’t have the metres in him like an AFB.... but at half AFB price, he’d be someone we could definitely use up front.
Yesterday was yet another example of our entire team tackling the opposition & in most cases failing to stop them in their tracks or even put them to ground.... where has all our mongrel gone? Jack would be good. But he doesn’t make those hard meters. Asiata would be good but again isn’t a great meter eater. We miss Klemmer so much. Somebody like that prick would be perfect

Let me be the first to link $BW arrival and selection in the Roosters 17 at the expense of blokes who busted their arse all year as the catalyst for their approaching decade long slide into obscurity... That and Uncle Nicks mate PV’L told him they’ve gotta clean up their ongoing cap rorting...
