2:0 Hannover within 5 of the red. Borrello surely to get on now. 3 subs left.

Borrello on. Japanese Muroya has rounded him once and wacked him in a tackle in an AFC battle.

I wonder if Fortuna's manager will get the sack soon. Probably too early at this stage. Souttar, Boyle, Wright, Williams starting
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Stoke win again with Souttar playing the full match.
Souttar still remaining undefeated in 100% of his Stoke matches.

+xArzani bench only in 2-1 win Disappointing Arzani didn’t get any minutes but at least he is fit and training with a good team in a good league. His chances will come soon enough, even if it’s just a mid-week cup game.

Noah Botic came on at half time (in his second game back from injury) and scored the winner for Hoffenheim U19 in a comeback victory vs. Eintracht Frankfurt U19. 45 mins is the longest Botic has played in many many months. It’s a great sign.

Not good for the Aussie lads this weekend, no game time for Arzani, Mcgree didnt make the bench, Hrustic hasnt come on to play for Frankfurt, Borrello off the bench and got 20 minutes.
Hopefully its just a blip.

+x+x+xAgree with a lot of things you say Pala but certainly not this one. We play players we and our junior systems have produced. Opportunists like Arnold and ancestory.com can fuck right off. Kewell never came through our systems.. that's probably why we have never see anyone even near him. You do realise he played football in this country up until he left for Leeds. Thats what i meant by systems. People need to do their research on the players lol.

FFA COE? LOL

LOL Not sure how you are trying to answer this BUT Marconi during that time was in the NSL and Kewell went through the youth system with them along with spending time at David Lee's old football academy as well. Apparently he was too young for the AIS which is he wasnt involved with them before going to England in a schoolboys camp and then got trailed with a couple of clubs including Leeds, I think Ron Smith mentioned all this in a interview on SBS World Game so check it out. As for Emerton he was with Sydney Olympic and made his debut for them in the NSL, before that he had a trail with Leeds or Man United but rejected it apparently and later did pretty well for himself many years later... Same with Viduka when he was in the AIS, same with Zelic, Okon etc...I dont how you are trying to assume Australia didnt produce top class in the past, because it did and it can now if it could get itself right with the pathways and overall better youth development which the NSL still has over the aleague era. the aleague era is professional and the NSL was semi pro and the later produced better players? How was this so? It also helps alot of these guys breathed and ate football in their child hood, could you say the same with the players of today? Anyway no more derailing the thread! lol

Just when you thought Tommy was done at Celtic, he has a good game against Atalanta, the fans start jumping on the bandwagon & now Lennon is starting him!!! One of the most gifted Footballers we've produced over the last decade, just injuries have halted his progress. Always plays well for the Roos. Maybe with Hrustic, Arzani, McGree being slightly out of favour at club level, Tommy may still have something to offer for the NT?

Not bothered Hrustic didn't get time against Bayern. He's still quite raw and needs a little more time.

Don't think Rogic will be too bothered either way about the result of the game, if we lose Lennons getting the sack and he will start to get proper game time again
