She is in trouble if perjury is applicable in ICAC proceedings. She said a number of things denying any knowledge, before the counsel assisting played tapes where it is obvious she did know. In New South Wales, perjury is governed by Section 327 of the Crimes Act and carries a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment.

She's broken numerous ministerial standards alone, that in itself is worth sacking.

Lol - from the shovel

BREAKING: The investigation into the Australia Post CEO has been dropped after it was revealed she actually spent $100 million on watches (not $3k) and gave them to executives living in marginal Liberal electorates. Scott Morrison has apologised for the misunderstanding

Fucking Scomo blowing up about these watches like a cock.  We should run governments like businesses blah blah.  Until it comes to bonuses and executive pay then burn the joint down.

Oh and don't mention paying 27 million dollars too much for a block of land worth 3.  'Nothing to see here folks.'

Fucking bullshit of the highest order.

Was 33million I believe.

He's just using it as a Dead Cat to deflect lol.

This Government and dodgy deals/corruption go hand and hand.

There's a reason they don't want an ICAC, or if they make one it'll be toothless.

Oh yeah.  And Gladys personally signing off on 1/4 of a billion dollars in grants to coalition councils.  Why isn't that front page news?  Oh no let's talk about $3000 watches.  Not sure how those clowns in the Murdoch papers can call themselves journalists with a straight face.

Nothing to see here except deleted digital files and all the paperwork shredded.  FMD.  The shagging of McGuire was ordinary but this is dead set corruption.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-10-23/gladys-berejiklian-approval-of-council-grants-shredded/12806962

The Premier's former chief of staff, Sarah Cruickshank, was asked whether it was routine practice in the Premier's office to destroy documents related to the spending of millions of dollars in public money.

"No, I would say it's not," she replied.

Can you imagine the reaction if it was Scomo or a Liberal who was running Victoria?

“He’s got blood on his hands!”
”Rather than bringing in the military he appointed his rich mates to run the security!”
”He’s responsible 800+ deaths!”
”He waited too long to shut down costing lives”

Anyway you look at is, Victoria has 90% of the Covid deaths, and the buck stops with Dan Andrews for the 800+ folks who died under his failed stewardship of the Coronavirus.

In results suggestive that incumbency is powerful during a global and national crisis, 68% of the sample of 1,082 voters approve of Berejiklian’s performance despite rolling controversy last week about the New South Wales premier’s undisclosed relationship with disgraced MP Daryl Maguire, and 54% gave Andrews the thumbs up despite ongoing political criticism about the Victorian government’s management of Covid-19.Annastacia Palaszczuk – in the middle of a tough election fight in Queensland – also maintains majority support, with 62% of the sample expressing either approval or strong approval. The Western Australian premier, Mark McGowan, leads the pack on 84% approval and South Australia’s Steven Marshall has 52% approval.

Blaming him for not doing his job as defined in the highest legal document in the land is the same thing as blaming him for aids and cancer, sure.

Mind you, Shorten did promise a bunch of funding for cancer research and treatment in the last election that Scomo didn't match, so you might be right.

Worth noting that Dan's approval rating was a little lower than it is now before the last election in 2018, which he won in a landslide.

Well maybe you should. Wasn't there hints this week that the decision came from National  Cabinet and the Federal Government provided the training for all states as well as recommending the firms that they usually use. So aged care, borders and quarantining all pointing back to Dutton (Border Security), Colbeck(Aged Care) and Brendan Murphy (AQUIS).

It seems all the premiers have done a reasonable job in spite of the Federal Government. Now is the time for the Federal Government to support the states. As we come out of this Australia and New Zealand are better placed than most of the rest of the world to recover quickly. If not maybe National Cabinet should be just the states because The Feds seem to be where the problems have come from.

Worth a read and remember a that an interim aged care report was release last year that was not acted on. There also was no movement in the budget either. So The Royal commissioners said make changes before Covid-19 and we are going to wait until at least after the next Federal budget.

if you want to blame Scomo then I’m sure you’ll find a reason. Just like when it was his fault for the fires because he didn’t stop fossil fuels, and Palainsidious blaming him for cancer because he didn’t adopt Bill Shortens cancer funding, which surely would’ve solved cancer and ended world hunger.

Bottom line is Victoria’s Coronavirus spread is on Dan Andrews and the blood of 800+ souls is on his hands, and I know you know this but you are just doing the shitty political thing where you try to blame the other guy anyway.

Dan Andrews and the vic government fucked up in so many ways. They fucked the hotel quarantine, they fucked the contact tracing, they fucked the hotspot zoning, they fucked the lock down timing, they were chiefly responsible for the pandemic strategy, decisions and actions and therefore the buck stops with them.
