+x+x+x+x+xDamn - Kiks compound fracture of ring finger 4-6 weeks. Hello Kitty suspended for another 2 weeks. Second row options- Preston, Salmon, Curran. Awful timing with Oranges around the corner... Presto surely has to claim his starting spot and side of the field back.. Fish to cover Big Bill... This i agree with. Preston is more damaging on the left than the right. Preston and Salmon are named as the second rowers, I think that Salmon will play on the left. More interesting is if players in the extended squad will be getting a run. Most likely is Hopoi. It is an open secret that the club wants to give Hopoi and Todd a run in the side this year. Hopoi is a big body who has been playing long minutes at lock in reserve grade, but Liam Knight also did that. The other chances are Hayes and Skelton. Last time Kiks was potentially out injured the club was going to ask for an exemption for Hayes to play. And Skelton is an outside chance of getting a run on the wing instead of Wilson. Only one out of these 3 is the most likely scenario. I think Hopoi is likely if Mann isn't fully recovered. Or Hayes with Curran starting in the second row and Hayes coming off the bench. Mann is the player most likely to have lingering injury issues. But there may be 1-2 others. Don't you come in here talking sense... Where is the Wilson the 9 post???... Won't someone think about the bots???... Wilson to 9, Reed can do the catering for the bus trip.

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xI'm not real happy that they are using Burton as 18th, 19th or 20th man. He misses a club game and may nkt evrn take the field in the SOO. What a waste. He might get a run if Nicho doesn't make a full recovery. IMO the team selection is pretty good. I don't like the defector being named...just cos he's a defector... Spencer is lucky... other than that all seems reasonable... The defector can be below par in defence. There must be a minimum quota for Roosters players. Being objective I would have Tago and Staggs ahead of the defector. Hazelton and Barnett ahead of Spencer only because Spencer has played fewer games. Even Kleary is slightly lucky. The defector and Kleary will not be there next season, a consideration if selection is linebacker. If Kleary plays ahead of Burton, I doubt that is the right move. Kleary (nice one) only there if Nicho can't line up... Doesn't affect Burto.... Burto the perfect 18 as covers 4, 6, 13... But he's Klearly 'lucky' to be there after being awful all season... #sackmadge.... Well if he cant make the run-on side after so many outs, its no longer "luck" holding him back.... Cleary, Moses, Cody out and Hynes under question mark and they are still thinking Keary over him.... Turbo, Best, Staggs, Gutho out, Latrell cant be trusted and Wighton unavailable and he still cant lock a centre spot either.... He's well down the pecking order my friend. You cant hide in origin. When the team needs you, you have to make yourself count. Ill admit, hes done alright when hes been put in the centre spot, but if he (and you) hasnt realised how far he is from a halves spot, then theres no hope convincing you otherwise..... What crawled up your arse and died. You're not backward in laying the slipper in when you think the bloke is down I am glad Marki wasn't posting on Dowling, Mortimer, Lamb, Polly, Thurston, the General and Sherwin. I am sure that he could also imagine a lot that is wrong with their games. You forgot his take on the general so soon???... Anyway... All plodders...

I would pick Burto and that selection is more consistent with the type of side NSW has picked. What I really want to see is Burton kicking torpedo bombs from deeper right down the middle of the field, terrorising Walsh and reducing Walsh to a quivering wreck. NSW will win in a canter and it is great warm up for when the Dogs play the Broncos. I am from the Glen McGrath school of sport, target the best player in the opposition team and take him down. Legally and within the spirit of the game. Walsh might stand up to it, but test him because it is SOO and it is supposed to be a tough challenge. Burto is a versatile 18th man, he might even be added to the bench to cover HIA in the outside backs and halves. QLD has Kobo. I the HIA is even more likely in SOO, Playing a hooker or second rower in the centres can end in disaster.

+xWelcome back starting at no 8 for QLD must be the shortest starting SOO prop in history. This weekend all of the angry short guys will celebrate via smashing big guys. I have flipped my opinion on Spencer, I certainly would not want to play against him. Cotter attempting to smash Spencer might be a game highlight. Origin might be the game for Spence... 20-15 mins of madness...

+x+x+x+x+xWe looked better with Sexton at half.
What a fekking shock!!!... I'm not gonna go off early, it's one game... But to the idiots parroting "7exy vdoeant talk" cos they saw it on TK, give yourselves an uppercut... Anyone that ever actually watched him play knows he yaps like one of those horrible little dogs wankers own... Whatever the reason for Sexton starting the season in reserve grade it has worked. Second half we ran fast guys at them up the middle and shreaded them, the coaches got it right. I agree with the need for "fresh legs" and giving Reed a rest. Overall Sexton has his nose in front at half, but Hutch was good last week. Next question is if Sexton stays at half can Hutch take some other role in the side? Salmon went much better after a rest. I have a feeling that a rested Mann and Hutch are going to come in handy. But as long as Sexton plays well in 7, he keeps the job. He did look a lot better than he did last season. Playing in a weak team can mess with a player's confidence. Hutch helped build the team into what it is today. 'fresh legs' is a diplomatic way of dumping your 7... Or so I hope... Cos those 7exy legs are much fresher... The hands are crisper... The foot is :kickier'... And the voice though not as deep is 'talkier'.... Relax.... CC was tipped off by Maguire that Burton will have to wait in the wings as 18th man. CC then decided to forward plan the team this week. Now we will get to see the halves pairing i wanted from Round 1 I'm going Heywouldu and 7ecy in the halves .. cos thats best option... And out of spite ..

Now we will get to see the halves pairing i wanted from Round 1 I hope that Hutch and Sexton combine well, the game against Newcastle is critical. Long term I would still slot Hutch in as the starting lock. We look good with Hayward on the field. I see the style as a bit like playing with a halfback and 2 5/8s. We can get our ball player ball in wider positions on the edge, that moves opposition defenders around. If we try Hutch at lock and it doesn't work out, we have plenty of other options. Long term KO has a mortgage on that position if he can stay injury free.

+x+x+x+xWhy the fuck these NRLo jokers can't figure out a 3 week stoppage to the comp for this shit is beyond me.... There's plenty of content... plenty of good footy that can be played, would want to be played by players... Something like... 3 x boys origin 3 x girls origin... Pacific Island tri series..Fiji, Samoa, Tonga PNG vs PMs 13... Nth vs South island NZ origin... 3 week 9s comp for the rest with $200K prize money... #patentpending...
But no.. what we get is 'lets copy NFL with magic round and golden point'....
Lame lazy shitovators...
And I haven't even got to Greece vs Lebanon!!!!... North Sydney Bears vs all comers... U know the Bears will get in.. they'll play anyone... Please... Anyone... Please... The Mock 17 consisting of 17 fullbacks vs any Jersey Flegg side... $$$$$$$$$$$$.... Now that is what I'd pay good $$$ for.....

Cos those 7exy legs are much fresher... The hands are crisper... The foot is :kickier'... And the voice though not as deep is 'talkier'.... I think Sexton was playing well enough in reserve grade to deserve a chance. Hutch was good against Canberra and he may have needed a rest. If we were going to change the half this is around the time to do it. I hope Sexton gets a run of games now. If plays the next 5 games and goes as well as we both expect, everyone will agree that he is the best option at halfback. Sometimes the measure of a good side is who the coach leaves out. If Hutch, Mann, Farmer, Wilson, Taaffe, Patolo, Sutton, and Skelton can't force their way back into our top 17,we are in great shape. Now is absolutely the time to do it... So if this was a part of CCs plan whether it went one way of the other, credit to him... He looks to be a fine coach... As for Crutch played well against ACT, great... But a 1 in 11 strike rate ain't good enough... It's worse than Mutch Misses... I'm sure Crutch is a great clubman and good bloke... He is also a very good footy player that can cover many positions... He may very well be a key cog if we can crack the 8.... But he ain't no week in week out 7... The fish easily had his best game for us this week, but like hutch last week, 1 in 11 ain't taking us to finals.... our best side has kiks and Presto starting in second row... CurranAffairs or Mann starting at lock.... Heywouldu, fish, crutch, TTAAFFEE, farmer, Mozza fight it out for the bench... I must hand it to you...you have come up with some good names for players...

+x+x+x+xWe looked better with Sexton at half.
Now we will get to see the halves pairing i wanted from Round 1

+x+x+x+x+xGood win in the end. Lucky it was Dragons though as most good teams would have taken their first half ascedency and put a lead on us. Good reaction by the players in the second half. Abit like the Tigers game..we woke up after the halftime spray. Was pleased that our players realised the weakness of the reshuffled left edge with Eisenhuth having a shocker and turning the game in our favour. I also liked what i saw from Turpin. We seemed to play much faster once he came on. St Merge were up for it in the first half . Our players seemed to loose their footing a bit but luckily got it all together . Could be without a few players next week due origin .. I think that they were up for it, we conceded some silly penalties and got a few rough calls. Our defence was a bit lose up the middle and they have powerful ball runners. We did miss tackles leading to their 2 trys, but 12-6 was a good score. Could have been better but Foxy needs to squeeze into smaller size shoes or get someone to move the sideline. Second half when we turned it on, we got a run of possession and even our pack finished we'll on top of them. That is why games are won on defence, the team that scores gets the ball off the kick- off. A team can pile on the points and have a mountain of posession. But it was great that the side could find that energy after 2 hard games and short turnarounds. In that first half, we were getting our players trapped under the tackled players and couldnt get to marker properly. This allowed Dragons to get on a roll with quick PTB and was certainly the reason for the Liddle try. We were lucky we scrambled enough to not cop more points. Once we fixed this in the second half and got fsir share of ref calls, we ran over the top of them. The efficiency in the ruck and marker is a critical part of the game. Win that and it goes a long way to playing the game on your terms. Why is everything lucky for us when it's positive???.. Could it not just be we managed things as best we could with what was thrown at us???... Or credit to our scramble... Cos all good teams scramble well... Would love to see your 17 fullbacks dominate the ruck and PTB for 80 mins against a team with other positions doing their thing... You know... Like... Forwards... Figure of speech... Lucky -Fortunate - Credit to us.... etc Same thing. My point was about the Dragons PTB speed and our marker defence being a shambles in the first half that was a huge contributor to their dominance. Once we cleaned that up, we reversed the trend and came out on top. Ive seen it in other games too. Its why 6-again can be such a savage punishment. In some instances its worse than a full penalty with 30m kick downfield -if it means you can reset your defensive line.

+x+xI'm not real happy that they are using Burton as 18th, 19th or 20th man.

+x+x+x+x+xWhy the fuck these NRLo jokers can't figure out a 3 week stoppage to the comp for this shit is beyond me....
Refs vs fans... Sure there'll be 17 send offs, but still... Actually knowing refs, there could be more than 17 send offs ...
