Pax for the semi final was sitting at 6500ish at around midday today. Not too shabby considering that it hasn't been released to the general public yet.

I wonder if he going to miss out on the CCM game, but 2 weeks off may not be a very good thing for him. You always want to be playing every week.
I really don't like this new finals format, I still think it much fairer that 1st or 2nd has a finals birth. Having a week off is generally a bad thing. Ive looked around Twitter,Facebook etc haven't seen anything yet, lets hope if anything he only misses one week, or better.

Missed a few dead set tap-ins in the weeks leading up but the last 2 games he has been terrific.

Bout half way down the page is the latest list Looks similar to mine. Although I did notice theroar guys have Matt Smith's contract expiring at the end of 14/15, yet the info I found says 15/16. Do you reckon you could hit them up about it? http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/brisbaneroar/news-display/Super-six-sign-on/49008Quote:Hyundai A-League Championship-winning skipper Smith, Henrique, who has just applied for Australian permanent residency, and Franjic have committed for an additional three years until 2015/16 season.

Hey there Roar supporters!
I'm attempting to compile an up-to-date squad list for all HAL clubs. I went through various websites and google searches and made the below list as best I could. Could you guys run your eyes over it and tell me whether anything is obviously missing/wrong/etc? Also maybe some additions to the rumour in/out bit if applicable? Note: the numbers after the name are when the contracts expire at the end of that season.
Current Brisbane Roar Squad #1) Michael Theo (gk) - 16/17 #2) Matt Smith - 15/16 #3) Shane Steffanuto - 14/15 #5) Ivan Franjic - 15/16 #7) Besart Berisha (fgn) - 13/14 #8) Steven Lustica - 15/16 #10) Henrique Silva (fgn) - 15/16 #11) Liam Miller (fgn) - 14/15 #12) Julius Davies - 14/15 #13) Jade North - 15/16 #14) Diogo Ferreira - 13/14 #15) James Donachie - 16/17 #16) Jean Carlos Solorzano (fgn) - 13/14 #17) Matt McKay - 14/15 #18) Luke Brattan - 14/15 #19) Jack Hingert - 15/16 #20) Matt Acton (gk) - 13/14 #22) Thomas Broich (fgn) - 16/17 #23) Dimitri Petratos - 15/16 #25) George Lambadaridis - 14/15 #26) Corey Brown - 14/15 #27) Devante Clut - 15/16 #28) Brandon Borrello - 15/16 #30) Ben Liftin - 14/15 #34) Patrick Theodore - 15/16
Players Released Kwame Yeboah - Borussia Monchengladbach

Yes indeed, he did nail as suspected he would. Played like he was there all season. Mulvey will now stop him from playing there for ever :d Stef had a good game as left CB as he did in the same possie last week. Have to disagree with you with Steff, he was crap. Edited by MrBrisbane: 23/3/2014 08:42:19 AM Really? I thought he was quite sound. Can't recall a single serious mistake. Steff was excellent. MV had one chance all game - never looked like scoring in teh second half. And especially never looked like creating anything through the centre. Steff's distribution was better than it has been also. I actually think he will nicely fill the 4th CB spot for next year. Though I think his time at left back has past - he can no longer get up and down the line and doesn't have the pace to get to the line and get a cross in. Edited by clockwork orange: 23/3/2014 11:23:28 AM Has been prone to too many errors as well at LB since returning from injury but at CB last 2 games has really been impressive in comparison.

He's had one good game this whole season... :-| Agree but has played in a different possie every game which is quite unfair. I don't think that much of him but if we're short of fit players and there are no better options then he should be given the LB role ahead of all others where he did play very well. I read in another thread though that North and Franjic are now in the squad to play tonight? On Thursday when they released the squad list it had North and franjic back. But the squad on friday member email is: Brisbane Roar squad: 1. Michael THEO, 2. Matthew SMITH (c), 3. Shane STEFANUTTO, 8. Steven LUSTICA, 10. HENRIQUE, 11. Liam MILLER, 14. Diogo FERRIERA, 16. Jean Carlos SOLORZANO, 17. Matt McKAY, 18. Luke BRATTAN, 19. Jack HINGERT, 20. Matthew ACTON (gk), 22. Thomas BROICH, 23. Dimitri PETRATOS, 27. Devante CLUT, 28. Brandon BORRELLO With no back up defenders on the bench is a little worrying. We got 4 chances to win the title now, its not worth players that not 100% ready. You forget we have the player Holger considered to be Australia's premier LB playing in our midfield. ;)
