I have a solution. 

Sack the entire first grade team with exception of Meaney, Cotric and Elliott.

Bring in the entire reserve grade team minus 3 players.

Done.

Flanagan was good in game 1, but terrible today. Service was slow.
I love Jake but he has to run the ball. Nearly set up a try except foe Elliot's double pump.
Dogs are slow and flat in attack, passes are slow.

Marki, I now agree Deitz could be a saviour after watching the 9's today. Although Katoa show a bit more than JMK.
JMK at one stage decided to have a run, then stopped and didn't know what to do.

Hopoate out, Avo to centre and Wakeham to 5/8. Not Lewis, he doesn't run the ball and would conflict with Flanagan.

I’ll say it again..... Hopoate is FARKEN HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately,given the depth of our problems, I don't thing there is a fix in our top 30. 

It is unbelievable. Hopefully Thommo can add some spark and bring in Lewis for what it is worth just need some mongrel . I think IMO Averillo Flanno were hyped up too much .

I have said it before and I will repeat. DWZ and Hoppa have to be let go  Meaney is a far better fullback than Allen, so FB Meaney, Allen to wing, Averillo to inside centre, Cotric outside him, Wakeham to 5/8 and Lewis to lock. FMD its not rocket science. Plus I thought Barrett was secret to Penriffs attack last year could have fooled me with our last three starts.... yeah I'm not the coach but if anyone says "OK you go in and do better" I'm fvcking sure I could. If  Barrett decides to persist with the same side agsinst Souffs I truly believe the record books will be re-written. We will be massacred with a repeat of tonights effort.

ODF.... Hopoate was useless, absolutely useless. For a guy off contract along with numerous others.... they are all sh1t & not worthy of NSW Cup contracts

Forwards are a real problem, we are always on the back foot, slow play the balls, who not to drop.
Droppings: NAPA, JMK, OGDEN. 
Jacko to bench. I know his defence, but he offers nothing in attack now, either does Elliot.
I thought Waddell played OK.

Wadell was the worst of all those 3.

Elliott is our only weapon out there and the only one I'd keep in the team.

I wish the NRL had a relegation system coz I feel Norths or Jets deserve to be in top grade - not us.

Wadell, out wide, player's outside, didn't have clue what to do, stepped back in an got softly tackled.

It looks like we might be bsttling Manly for the spoon at this rate and they have a heap to come back we've only got Thompson who is of any value.

That would allow us to move Averillo to fullback.

The formula doesn't seem to be working, the coach has to determine if some of our players are better suited to reserve grade.

Now I have all my bitchin out of the way  I feel that unless we sort out our forwards situation, even thr injection of Burton, Addo-Carr and the cheese wont help us.

His form has fallen off a cliff along with DWZ, I don't remember two senior players going backwards so fast.

If Hoppa wants to save his career, ask for selection  in the 2nd row in reserve grade. A stint in the forwards might wake him up and get him playing hard. He looks too slow for the backline.

Yep Barrett just mentioned it in the presser.

I'm at least happy he realises the attack was pathetic and that we looked better with dummy half runs.

Enter Dietz.

I also hope he drops Hoppa. He mentioned individual accountability.
He needs to make these players accountable by dropping them.

The young  backrower from the Broncos who some thought had signed with the Dogs, will stay at the Bronco’s T Baz just announced. 

Quality players always help, that gun 2nd rower backflipped and stayed with the Broncos.

Games are won in the forwards, we need to clean out the dead wood and start signing / promoting quality.

Why the club ever signed Napa, I'll never understand, that was a poor signing.
I'm not really sold on Wardell, Stimson, Britt and Roumanos, one current form these guys seem more likev reserve graders than NRL players.

Atoni and Odgen are good young players, but they need to lift their game.

There are quality forwards out there for a good price, we just need to find them.

When we go out wide we slide out there meaning we have a centre and winger pushed towards the sideline.
I am not sticking up for Waddell  but it is the way seem we go, no one straightens the attack.
Blame there on Avo, especially tonight, but also on JMK and our slow play the balls and poor go forward from especially Ogden and Napa.
This leaves Avo and Flanno passing to Jacko and Elliot to run back inside.
They are not damaging runners, they need to be put into a hole (if they could run into it).
Our wingers and Allen only get the ball to run it out. Pathetic.
Our only strike back in Cotric never gets early ball. Blame on Avo again who just passed to him slowly leaving him under pressure.
I suggest Wakeham in for Avo with Lewis on the bench for JMK.
Maybe Avo in place of Hopoate who has looked very slow and defending poorly.
  

If Baz doesn't drop some players that is a mistake.

It would be different if players were good some weeks and poor others, some have been poor 4 weeks in a row.

As I suggested earlier, try 1-2 changes each week and see if anything changes. 

The real bummer is there are a lot of duds in our top 30, some of our good young players are only in the development squad. 

I'm happy Dietz will get another shot, we have little to lose.
We know JMK and Katoa are not the answer.

I honestly thought our attack.... yes our attack would improve in 2021!

Rd.1 it looked okay. Last week the big wet & lack of go forward killed us!

Today, on a Dry Track that HD had been calling for..... we looked worse in attack than what we dished out last year. 

At least reserve grade had a win.
Looks like Dietz, Lewis, Doorey and a few others played well.
Forwards didn't make many yards, many post contact metres or tackle breaks.

Canberra had a big pack their forwards didn't make many metres either.

This suggests a wet track, a skinny 10 and slow play the balls.

If true, we scored 34 points which is something.

When the NRL side is struggling good performances in reserve grade should be rewarded.

I'll need to watch the game Villi, but I am disappointed.

Flanagan was good in round 1, but went backwards in round 2.
Averillo is a great young talent but is struggling to make an impact.

The Broncos aren't a great defensive side, we should have done better.

We also won SG Ball and Harold Matts, maybe we have some good young players, odviously a few years away from NRL.

Corey Allen is no faster than Hopoate at fullback from what I’ve seen in 3 rounds.
