+x+x+x+xAndy Harper claiming Western United memberships go on sale in July. Also said they will play 8 games in Geelong, 2 in Ballarat and 3 at Docklands. That's worse then Nix playing home games @ Campbelltown. Nothing is worse than NIx playing anywhere, let alone campbletown This! Nothing worse than the Nix in the HAL Maybe we should reduce the teams to 10 to solve the problem this year and add Canberra and the Southern Expansion team next year? Fuck off.

Playing 8 HAL games at Marvel (5 x Victory, 3 x WU) would be logistically difficult when its unavailable for 2 months for the BBL. plus the AFL beginning in late March limits stadium availability. In addition, there is a Metallica concert in late October this year, which throws a spanner in the works. From a Victory POV, if we played away to WU at Marvel, it might mean it reduces our commitment to playing there ourselves, allowing us to play more games at AAMI Park. I would love that.

I am hopeful though that this means a big upgrade for Morshead Park. The city splashed the cash when the AFL came sniffing for a game or two there.

Almost certainly those 3 games at Marvel will be derbies against MV and MC. Won't be attending any away derbies at Marvel if that is the case. Yawwwwnnn

'If we play these games at Melbourne Victory's home ground, maybe we can make our attendances look great with all the Victory supporters boosting our crowd average!' Bingo. Just like City do.

Can't wait for Carpe Diem to Drape a "Jim Lawrence End" banner over the Lockett End sign at Marvel.

Western United released 3 versions of their logo in different colour schemes, I've noticed they're using the mainly white version on their releases and social media account. Quietly hoping they're going to use a predominately white kit, as others have pointed out Tarneit means white. Interesting read: https://www.reddit.com/r/Aleague/comments/brm83p/western_united_fc_indepth_analysis_if_all_the/

+x+xWhile their player signings haven't exactly blown us away, their coaching appointments have been impressive. a 3 year deal means Rudan will be there for year one of Tarneit Stadium. Nah, he'll break contract and go to Macarthur. Nailed on. Even though Ante Milicic is there?

+xIf it's only Nix losing out I can't see any reason why the FFA should pursue it, any loss their team suffers has no bearing on Australian football. Let NZ Soccer have a cry, but of course if they did that it would be their first involvement in professional football in their history, so I won't be holding my breath. Nah this is a bad take Pala. Whether or not you like the Nix or not, they don't deserved to be scumbagged from within. The FFA should absolutely investigate whether or not Rudan has had any input into WU signings whilst contracted to the Nix especially the players who have left Wellington. If he did, then it most certainly breaches FFA and FIFA laws in regards to contracts.

Western United quickly becoming the biggest pieces of crap in the league without even kicking a ball. That's a fair effort.

+x+xRudan to be announced Thursday morning Has he been involved in recruitment I wonder. If so, how is that not sanctionable by the FFA?
-PB It should be. WU have already poached two of their starting XI players in Burgess and Kurto. Other players like Williams (Who still hasn't signed a new deal for next season) and Taylor (Before his extension) have been linked.
