Not uncommon behaviour at that club. It will be swept under the massive carpet as soon as humanly possible.

+x+x+xReally enjoy it. Watched and compared some of Lennon's stuff. Just a lame duck. They're pretty impressed on the talkceltic forum! Sure, he didn't invent pass and move, but they're beginning to learn that Ange is special in his way to get a team to believe in it. I would suggest you try the Kerrydale street forum a bit more sophisticated and way less Aussies talking pish. Mentalists on that board.

Just a thought. We all know Ange normally takes a season to implement his style. But this season may not take as long given his current squad is probably the highest calibre (at least when he is starting out) that he as ever had.

But this season may not take as long given his current squad is probably the highest calibre (at least when he is starting out) that he as ever had. Calibre could be a problem in terms of the older (more set in their ways) professionals. He's mainly dealt with youth so far and those would have less to unlearn and be desperate to embrace the new manager's philosophy - to get a chance. By all accounts there were a few decent performances this morning from youngsters the fans had never or barely heard from. Good games (I read) from problematic strikers which could mean that Ange has got into their heads about the future. Very interesting already.

no one seems to be talking about the elephant in the room... How will Ange handle Tommy Rogic? He's been on the outer there for a little while. And he's not afraid to let Aussie's go (Degenek left Yokohama not long after he started there).

If his body could hold up he could be their most important player, more likely he'll be some sort of impact player. It would be interesting how his injuries have been treated, a number of Australian sports medical people (burgess, brukner) have always said that the treatment of injuries has never been up to the standard of Australian and US sports.

Is tommy injured? Haven't seen him in any training videos?
You would think after the season he had he would be in early to work with ange. Guess not.

I haven't heard any news regarding him being currently injured. I too would have thought he would have been working with those that have started their preseason. I honestly thought he would have been at least in the match day squad for the friendly we just played. I guess we will find out more come Sunday's friendly.

A great signing by Celtic potentially here, was rated one of the best prospects in the J-League the question is can he adapt as we have seen its not always straight forward for players coming to Europe and doing well straight away.
Carl Starfelt apparently close to signing but something is up with his Russian club either they are hold it up or they maybe close to agreeing on the conditions of the contract but Celtic need new defender after Ajer will be gone soon.
I think it will take some time for Ange at Celtic the question can the fans the board be patent with him.

It's the board still copping their fury, but Furuhashi has certainly got them a little excited. Will be a difficult task against Midtjylland in the CL qualifier and that's when we'll really see how patient the fans will be.

📅 Should #CelticFC progress to the UEFA Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round, we will face either PSV or Galatasaray.
The ties will be played across 3/4 and 10th August.

+x📅 Should #CelticFC progress to the UEFA Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round, we will face either PSV or Galatasaray. The ties will be played across 3/4 and 10th August. Reading various Celtic forums their fans are still filthy at the Board and very unhappy about lack of signings. They are also very glum about prospects against the Danish club. Not much of this is against Ange. Still, if they don’t get past Midjteland then the pressure will rise on Ange, fairly or not. Would be good for all at the club if they can at least win the home tie. Getting through to the next round would be awesome for Ange.
