I'm sure we all saw the first interview with Ange by the Celtic official youtube account while he was in quarantine and the first thing he mentioned about Midjytland was that Awer was a good footballer and a good young man.

We can finally see the tactical blueprint that Ange has been working on, when he was at YFM he used a 4-2-3-1 with inverted fullbacks and lots of rotations and movement off the ball which is known with AngeBall.
But at Celtic he's using a 4-1-4-1(4-3-3) with those inverted fullbacks involved but with those same principles of movement off the ball and rotations but this time with the lone No.6 so therefore he's taking alot more risk.

Im assuming because the players in Japan even though their technically excellent they probably didnt have the physical capacity to play a more aggressive style without the ball but also being more brave mentally too Ange mentioned this about the players over in Japan.
But it seems he's found the players at Celtic (though there are holes in fill in in certain positions which I mention in the end of the post) the capability to press more high but also being more brave and I think especially from the first half it really showed but of course they need more time to adjust.

They also have an XG of 2.02 so they should have won the game but plenty of positives to take away from that and early days of the AngeBall revolution but looks promising.
However they need 2 new full backs especially the ability to play inverted, both FBs here dont have a strong ability to do this at a high level,
Starfelt will help at the back but Bitton was poor there and lack of awareness of the situation of the game, Walsh however surprised me and he did well.
Soro as mentioned he played the lone No.6 which isnt easy role to play but he did a good job, McGregor did well further up but Ange could bring in another No.8 to help him
Eduard doesnt look interested to me and Ajeti would do a better job it seems right now, Abada could be a gem as he looks to be a perfect player into this system whilst throw in Furuhashi and Dembele they might be a bit more promising in the wide areas.
And Barkas though he played that sweeper keeper role he's goal keeping is questionable so I wonder if Ange alter he's style of keeper especially with the rumours of Forster.

there's no rumours about any more australian's headed to celtic. but he is still to secure a CB and a RB.  He was said in an interview their transfer priorities were a CB, RB, and L/RW.  Seems like Brighton will take Edouard once the ben white money is through so Im guessing they will probably look at a striker.

On the wings they've picked up Abada - and Furuhashi has landed in london for quarantine but still needs to do a medical

In CB and Starfelt has or is coming soon.  Also the 2 young guys Shaw(?) as a fullback and Urhoghide in CB.

My question - what Australian's do you think they are likely to pick up if any??  I honestly dont think Ange will even be looking our way for the moment.  But I can think of a few who who would be decent pick ups.  Limitations - they need to be young prospects with onsell worth with NT caps for UK visa rules.  Or they need to be well established snr players that can walk into the first 11 - which would be mooy or ryan and so there is no one else really that fits this.

3 signings for celtic that I can see being decent and fitting Ange's style of play.
-Atkinson in RB but he will need to get capped for the NT first which is pretty likely.  He has decent onsell value. 
-Sainsbury in CB - I would say Degenek, but his passing is a bit suspect at times and might not fit Ange's style. Also he was dropped from Ange's yokohama.  Maybe Curtis Good now he is getting games under his belt without the injuries.
-Rukavytsya up front - but in writing this I've just seen he has signed for Perth.  Doesn't really fit the limitations, but he would be a decent cheap signing that could have been a solid goal scoring backup striker. Celtic would be well aware of him having shown they scout the Israeli league.

I certainly am, though they’ve always been my favourite Scottish team.

In terms of other players either Atkinson or Grant would both be an upgrade on Ralston. Smith or Behich on the left too would be upgrade on Taylor and suit the style better. Good or Sainsbury as ball playing center backs, mass loungo as a backup number 8. 

Other than those I cant see too many realistic options. 

Lennon was in the job for 2nd stint for what 2 years? Had started going backwards and apparently ‘lost the locker room’ so just downhill from there - and losing 4-1 twice to Sparta Prague was 1 of the last nails in his coffin. Sure Ange won’t be treated any less harshly by club/fans if he doesn’t produce results after year or so

Lennon's first stint was 4 and a bit seasons. He also has a better record in the Champions League then all those who came in after his first stint - including Rodgers. He took Celtic to the Group Stage a couple of seasons in a row, even making the final 16, beating Barcelona on the way. Other then that bit of information you missed/didn't know, the rest is pretty much spot on.

I do respect your passion that you have for your football club BB. I’m a stirrer of the pot on this forum as you know 😉 And hard for all Aus football fans not to be interested in Ange plying his trade at a very big/famous club
