With no football on, I was flicking through the channels & ended up watching one of those gymnasts on SBS for a while. She was extremely precise, accurate, flexible, jumping & rolling along like a smooth wheel on arms & legs. At times her limbs looked like they were held on by string the way they were moving into extreme positions. It was all quite extraordinary but she was brilliant at it, nothing at all was crooked or out of time. All of the things that would put me on a stretcher on the way to intensive care with everything from dislocations to a broken neck. Now here's the "what the" moment. After her performance was over & all was said & done, she was walking off the arena, literally out of performance mode & she looked like a drunk duck walking out of the ministry of silly walks. Her extreme lifestyle must surely be the reason because it wasn't smooth, precise or anything, it looked like she just crashed her bike.
