+xPoor Ange. I watched the game and Celtic offer nothing in the final third. Their defenders are A league quality and their strikers are useless. Rogic had some neat turns but final product was lacking. The Scottish game may be too helter skelter for Angeball. Feels like groundhog day people saying something like this at a new club. They will come good

I watched the game and Celtic didnt look like their best, almost a tad unsure of their decision making and execution maybe due to the poor synthetic pitch but not a great day for Angeball.
Clearly the injures haven't helped.

Oh my days
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Livingston had 1 point from 5 games prior, he had a team worth over 15m at his disposal and failed to take a point off a side that haven't spent any fees on transfers since 2001 managed by an ex convict. We lost 5 games domestically last season under Lennon, Ange is currently on 3 with 32 games left, it's not looking good....All good not having a plan B in low stake leagues, 40m pound is on the line here.

+x+xCeltic are lucky Rangers drew at home to Motherwell to soften the blow, Ange hasnt won an away game yet and without kyogo and Mcgegor they're bang average. Im assuming Livingstone pick up most points at home on that artificial death trap. Celtic have not won there for 15 years. Yes the pitch should not be allowed. They have only played there 5 times since 2006. 3 of those were draws so your choice of words is a little disingenuous. Rangers record against Livingston away, when you were both in the Championship is hardly stellar (1 win two draws and 1 Loss).

The FACT is they haven't won there in 15 years or at any domestic away ground since February.

Imagine if we had this bloke at CDM at the Olympics instead of Genreau. He has potential for the Roos if he’s played in the right position.

He's more of an attacking midfielder, thats where he plays anyway for Gorica. Not sure if thats where he was playing for the olyroos in the friendly tournament, but he was not impressive that week.

Just watched the Lommel highlights. Arzani only involved in one highlight where he blazed the ball over the cross-bar. He was substituted at 2-0, and the player who he was subbed for scored to make it 3-0.
This bloke is a new signing that they paid 900k Euros for and is direct competition for Arzani. Things like this, and not joining up with the team directly after an intl break will make things a lot harder for him to play consistently.

Brescia play early tomorrow morning, (Australian time) against Frosinone. Fran Karacic named in the squad again. Hopefully he gets a run this time, because Inzaghi said a couple of weeks ago that with the gameload increasing to often 2 per week, all squad members would be getting chances for Gametime.

Yeah the wing really didn't suit him, he's not that mobile, so playing centrally probably suits him. Plus he's too good for a defensive role imo, he's capable of the unexpected just as he's shown in the past with some of his goals. Pretty sure i remember Arnold playing him sparingly on the wing for Sydney so that could explain that decision.

A lot of these players are new so still yet to gel but Ange needs a long win streak now domestically, looking at the fixture list they pretty much should not be losing a match through to the new year, Ange has to be within 6 points of Rangers ahead of the next old firm clash just after New Years. Even a couple of draws will only be tolerable if Rangers drop points as well, which luckilly they have to now, they don’t look convincing either.

The players listed were from that game. But, he is not rubbish. He is a current Swedish international. Sweden ranks 17 as compared to Australia’s 32. He would walk into any A League team. He has had an unfortunate start to his Celtic career but remember fans were saying Ralston wasn’t up to it until recently. Ange needs to start winning. The board may not have the patience he needs them to have if things continue as they are.

The board may not have the patience he needs them to have if things continue as they are. I’m comparing these players to European standard, not A league, of course they would all walk into an A league team. Agree on Ange needing to start winning, away form is dreadful but they haven’t been easy games, old firm, artificial turf + difficult European away ties. That’s why I said looking at the fixture list domestically he has absolutely no excuse to not be going on a long winning streak from now on, whether it’s flashy or ugly he just needs to win and keep pace with Rangers, any success in Europa is a bonus. Also needs to win one of the cup comps. Basically needs to survive until the next transfer window, with every window he survives it will get easier, won’t be easy short term.
