CH, MO passed the test with ease eh and so did the rest of the boys :) Ronaldo will never forget this game the rest of his life same goes for Whiskey Nose and all mancs lol.......... Talk about a win of the century. What a game to remember in my lifetime and all of us, to be 4 up by HT and 5th in the 59th min to then just cruise was surreal. Kind of wish we didn't back off to humiliate them even more but can understand. To see Ronaldo in frustration lash out from Curtis's great shielding of the ball on our goal line said it all. They dropped one by one, we owned Shaw/MacGuire, giggles running into each other, Fernandes getting robbed of the ball many times, Rashford passing back in desperation for MO nearly taking advantage. They were like rabbits in front of headlights that 1st half. A subbed on Pogba getting a red. They got 6 yellows - good tally. Milly done a hammy :( Kieta, he has come to form of late barring his errors last CL game but his 1st half he was a dynamo, heck we all were. He got singled out a few times hope he's ok. 5 fucking nil in cruise control - Thankyou LFC and Mr Klopp !

Get the fuck in there! What an absolute bullying. On their home turf. They had to sit there and watch it happen and think about all the years they called us bottlers and history FC and asked us how many PL titles we'd won and Fergie had to sit there and watch and think about the perch. What a timeline to be alive in.

Hahahah hope you both enjoyed it... I slept through my alarm and came into the game at about 15 mins and 2 nil up... Hahaah was honestly rubbing my eyes thinking I was still asleep. Hahahaha Its gonna be a corker of a title race these year.... Loved seeing that hairdresser 's model get rattled and lash out... What a little grub... should have been a red, that would have been the only thing to make the morning even better.... 5 un-answered goals in the "theatre of nightmares" and Melbourne's out of lockdown.... what a way to start a Monday :)

MSC obviously still on a high. As CH posted, after all the years of their arrogance this win was karma at its finest ! To see Fergie watching and his big influence bring back CR7 they all had to watch us sucking everything out of them on the pitch and in stands. Yes coupe de grace would have been CR7 copping a red, if it was anyone else it would have been but in hindsight good he had to suffer the fate with them all. Not often do you see a game of perfect football, especially that 1st half, the no5 goal that many are only talking about since is Hendo, mid pitch he poachs the ball from pogba, to then split their useless backline with a surblind side footed pass that was inches away from Macguire for MO to run onto at full stream and put it away effortlessly was coupe de grace. Some say that was our declaration at the 60min mark, they were chasing shadows till FT..... Daveybot2 Scholsey knew since they shipped 4 by the Fox's, it was coming period. Listenning to him during the coverage was a hoot, the cross over to hargreaves at OT was even better, his honesty was good to hear, they are miles behind us and MC, the divide is huge he was quoting. Hope Carra has been having fun with Neville lol........ Within my own whatsapp football team group the banter has been typical - the arrogant manc supports are eating it - last msg I saw last night from one was - struggling with this loss, lol, the world over they are.

well, Brighton was a let down points wise But I think we had a hang over from the previous result. We just didn't keep it together after running up 2. Draw is a draw we move on. CL just last night I just don't get whats doing but I'll take it, start like a house on fire 2 superb goals taken from top play. The squad changes didn't miss a beat and Atleti were frustrated and go man down therefore pretty much game over. Disappointed we didn't finish a few more but they always dig in. Happy to see Fabs/Thiago back when we really needed them back but now we got more injuries FFS. Having such a good run results wise to date its brilliant but whoa, concerns whats to become with these players out.

The Hammers loss is a good kick up our butts imo...... Alli that was your mis judgement for me, even though they crowded you you over stepped the flight and missed getting good contact punching the ball out. We sure didn't cover well mid pitch on their counters, that was the issue. I felt like we missed Bobby alot this game, his movement and skill in tight spaces as they were defending made it hard to create the holes. MO hardly got in position for a decent shot or 3. We hardly peppered Fabianski - a day when we weren't clinical enough whatsoever and having troubles defending set play needs polishing up. TTA wasn't goal side whatsoever to cover Zouma's easy header but just watched from behind him. Inter break good for the soul and re group.

Is there a PL team who have had a more difficult run of fixtures over the past 2 months (in England and Europe) than LFC? In that time frame, the only two games you'd say were against relatively "easy" sides were Norwich and Watford. Every other side has been a fellow top 6 side or a team who've been in good form.

Granted your right CH - we sure have faired very well and tbh I was surprised how well we did in group of death CL. Count the injuries we have been incurring we have stood up very well in the big picture. What goes around comes around, the rest will have their run of challenging fixtures coming, thats our time to capitilise and not drop those games. Gooner one coming up is a must win to get back on the roll....... Thankfully inter break should have us seeing back Milly/Naby/Jones available for the above and onwards. Gonna miss Bobby though. Gooners H CL Porto H < can rest some start up players tbh. Southampton H Toffee derby A Wolves A 4 other games leading into Dec 25 all winnable. Wonders IF we do anything Jan window.

Congrats and good luck Stevie G. I was hoping you didn't take this chance yet BUT you've got some runs on the board now and being a SPL winner so soon is no mean feat....... You did an awesum job tbh, built up a strong squad to bring down 9yrs of reign. Pretty damn good if you ask me but now you have to start all over again. Good luck - Villa now will be watched and heard of alot more around the world now. Ironically you'll be coming home LFC vs AV comes up Dec 12 ! Wow what an interesting sight and experience this will be for us all O Captain ! my Captain !.

Its worth every moment of lost sleep when we bounce back like we did against the Goons. Mind you they had me actually a little worried early first half when the competed with us very well and we just couldn't meet that final pass to get it in let alone their keeper Ramsdale was pulling off almighty saves. I thought here we go, a keeper MOTM performance coming up BUT come another set play from the right Sadio meets TTA's delivery perfectly putting it in and we settled. From then on you could alredy see that blew them. Upon the re start our pressing was forcing error after error, so enjoyable to watch total football. Were missing something like 8 players yet look so complete. Jota is such an anassuming attacker - be it with his feet or head. His goal was a lesson on footwork around 2/3 defenders and finish. His header for Sadio to run on was another piece of nice distribution, things just clicked. Arsenal were being ripped, after having their unbeaten run against lesser Clubs they experienced the divide. They can blame their coach lol, the reaction early over a free kick pushing for a yellow on Sadio put Kloppy into animated protection mode and Arteta responded as such too funny, the games energy lifted after that for us. 4zip at Home was just beautiful. All the above made for heaps of giggles after the Watford win :) Pity Ole is gone. Just hope our injuries sub side soon and get more of the boys back.

Congrats Morton @ 19yrs CL debut @ Home...... Nice to rest a few players. Some close calls by them now and then but its like as if its all meant to be. What a fucken strike THAIGO ! you can't time that any better and nut megging at the time lol....... The biuld up play for MO's peala was another NICE goaaaaaaaal. Both of these shots just inside the post keepers have NO chance. Sadios fine line offside what a bummer, beautiful Thaigo through ball and what a nice finish.

Chelsea dropping points again thankfully, keeping the top of the table bunched up going into Christmas and considering the run over the next few months for LFC vs. the other two main contenders things are looking good.

I'm so saddenned seeing another important cog of the '70's LFC machine passing away...... We had players all over the park that just clicked all together and Razor Kennedy was one. Originally a forward with Arsenal with success moved to midfiled with massive impact with us. Case/Souness/Terry Mc with him were brilliant. Thanks for the memories RIP Razor....YNWA. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/nov/30/ray-kennedy-former-arsenal-liverpool-and-england-player-dies-aged-70Now lets give it to the Toffees in Razors honour.

In honour to Razor that win for me and the kind of game he'd thrive on....... Payback payback payback this one as well. 43 LFC GF from 14 FFS. and what goals they were, each one was wonderfully taken. Hendo's lefty was like a MO style goal :) Just loved seeing Colemans error being absolutley punished ! Jota what a game and fine finish ! A good Derby for their goal brought the game to life even though we looked all over them prior.

Not Liverpool related at all (outside of being about an ex-player), but I figured this would be the best place to find the man, the legend – 'Mr LFC' himself for a comment regarding Gerrard moving to Aston Villa, and no longer at the Huns, and whether he still wants to see that other lot win anything, or couldn't care less now?? Also if he wishes Villa to have any/much success?? I patiently wait to hear your thoughts mate 🙂

Ah BB, too cheeky a description there mate but I like the humour behind it :) A good question away from the trollers elsewhere. I'll do my best to cover my thoughts open minded without obvious bias. A general POV summary. IMO when you think of other ex top flight players who have gone into the dug out I can't recall many who won a title within 3yrs in a well known league in recent times with the exception of one like a Pep walking into a very good top flight squad with copious amounts of resource and throw in Zidane. (they went to the huge glamour clubs) The Huns were ordinary as you know and kudos to SG pulling in that title undefeated might I add, brilliantly done no matter who your behind. Says alot about his management team and connection he has made with the players. All ex LFC Gary Mcallister < he's always been brilliant on and then off the field, Micheal Beale, Tom Culshaw, Jordan Milsom and Scott Mason. I wished he stayed the remainder of the season (a double would have been massive for him) but I expect with a heap of the advise he recieved he made the call in the end it was right thing to do. Does he care about them ? as you know we/Celts have a very long link and respect between us (since Shanks), I can't speak for him, I suspect he has formed some kind of feelings towards them for winning has lasting relationships as you know so I expect he's keeping an eye on them, I'm sure some players have still been in contact as well. SG/Villa, SG is there to do a job 110% - he just knocked off Brendan lol hows the irony and history there, 5points from 6th at this stage. 3wins from 4 since his appointment - he certainly turned 5 straight loss's around. His resume relies on results and outcomes, he'll do his best no doubt about for them - coming up game @ Anfield is going to be a weird scenario got to say and he will get all the respect he deserves from the KOP let alone all LFC supporters. (I'm sure Too Good To Be True will be sung out or others) Eeven for his staff as mentioned this is gonna be weird But in the end those 90mins of play we got to put them away no matter the past.

Divock, he sure does make sure when he gets his rare chances its hardly ever forgotton lol....... Reminds me of the late wins on the way to the title. We missed so many long before the extra time winner. Talk about parking the bus by Wolves but not surprised, we just didn't convert some very good chances long before Divock converting. Nice in 2nd now. CL dead game vs Milan away in 2days time. Welcome SG's Villa at home 12th. Toons at home 17th. Spurs away 20th. EFL QF vs Fox's at home 23rd. Touch wood injuries are less than more for Boxing Day on 3 tuff ones to get on with.

When I saw Divock getting subbed on at the 66th minute the tiniest smile came to my face. They had Traore causing all sorts of trouble going up the right hand flank and getting the ball upfield, but I felt like having Divock on would neutralise that threat. I also figured if there was somebody fresh on the pitch who could break the deadlock in favour of LFC, it would be him. Furthermore, as the game went on I thought how delicious it would be to score the match-winning goal thanks to all those additional injury time minutes Wolves were directly responsible for thanks to their constant time-wasting and shithousing... Huge win considering Wolves were going all out for the 0-0 draw at the end, and Chelsea's loss earlier.

A nice go through the motions Milan CL win...... MO scores from a rebound brilliantly. Bloody Divock another - what a reactive header that was. Liked seeing Philips/Konate combo, Philips played very well. OX/Mini did as well. Importantly rotation is paying off at this stage. Naby/Gomez got their first run back in a while good to see...... Next up SG/Villa @ Anfield, 3days recovery.

SG made it hard for us no doubt about that. Villa defensively played a very good game especially without the ball for we dominated for so long. We should have converted 3/4 through the game. Their time wasting keeper was getting a bit much. Thankyou Mings, you did play a sound game but sooner or later an error was coming. MO converts pen such a tight angle. Didn't like how we let them threaten us late in the game, we got to improve this. Kudos SG, I really think your going to be a good gaffa, Villa will recover and climb the table. Damn you Leeds - had Chelsea for the draw would have been great for us.

well that spurs game was a shit show thanks to Tierney.....worse was starting up with a new midfield and VVD out even though IF we had our start up mids I think Konate/Matip would have done the job needed far better. Young Morton kudos to him but his defense and lack of experience was severely exposed by their high press and experience of Kane/Song. IF Fabs was at 6 would have been a different game or even Hendo.... We done enough to win away and they also were unlucky BUT Alli was a beat most of the game - feel sorry he didn't time that right for their soft 2nd it was there for the taking. Spurs were fresh hadn't started for 2wks, were stretched but should have coped better. They review Robbos tackle but not the Kane one, surely that was a pen re Jota. Just wasn't our day. Good to see Bobby getting back and Keita, both need game time and quick. Fingers crossed we don't get more infections otherwise we'll be in the poop. Merry Christmas LFC supporters, see youse Boxing Day we welcome Leeds @ home.

well what a pre chrissy bonus from a cup game that we could take it or leave it........ 10changes throwing in the kids and a few snrs, Leicester had weeks to prepare and you could see by their starting line up. We were messy 1st half not surprised and they punished us but the changes made through the 2nd were master strokes and then the belief was for all to see 1-3 down then 2-3 down I thought well that it. 3-3 ET 95th min I was like WTF LOL........ Good on young Kelleher for without him picking off those 2 saves epic performance @ Anfield. Mind you Mina should have won it in the first place with his pen BUT Walk On fellas Thanks for this bring on Boxing Day. Jota is becoming such a weapon for us. Happy seeing Ox being so effective, hope he stays fit. Konate is settling in so well. Bobbys back Keita back, he was epic pre injury, looking like he'll be again Hendo back I expect VVD/Thiago will be available
