Maybe that was Degenek or maybe someone else. I am not yet convinced about Deng myself but to be fair he has had some injuries. The only Aussies I could see Ange being interested in are Mooy and Atkinson, and the former would be too expensive and the latter has hist signed for Hearts I think, or some other Scottish club. Ange tried to sign Matty Ryan in pre-season but he chose Sociedad instead and ultimately we got Joe Hart. We've been linked with Mooy and Boyle on multiple occasions also. The only other Aussie player I could see us going for is Sainsbury for CB depth if he left his club on a free given how much Ange liked him previously and how well suited he is to Angeball. Degenek couldn't even even a rusted on started for ange in Japan
